Big Brother Canada 2 Recap of Episode 22 Week 8 POV

We left off in the last episode with Adel's Nomination speech. Remember the one with all the pointing? Pointing at Sabrina, then Rachelle and then the front door...apparently nobody knew who Sabrina and Rachelle were or where the stairs and front door were.

Sabrina and Rachelle go to the pantry, get pissed off and make fun of Adel's speech. Adel thinks his strategy is genius. I think Arlie either advised him wrong on purpose or Adel took Arlie's suggestions the wrong way. Sabrina has a hissy fit. She wants to ____ ____ his____ ____. Well...what she wants is to be personally responsible for getting Adel evicted next week. She tells Rachelle that IF Adel was Canada's player, then he just exposed himself as the ____ of ____ he really is. I never thought I would say this, but Sabrina is actually right this time. Meanwhile Adel explains his strategy in the DR, then yells "wake up Canada". Geez I wish he'd stop this whole Canada's player crap.

There is a short montage of how Neda and Jon annoy each other. Jon's farting bugs Neda. Jon complains about how Neda eats or rather doesn't eat. She doesn't know how to cut meat and she eats little wee bites of food. You know who else wouldn't know how to do the simple things like that? Yep. An android. Androids have no knowledge of human customs. In fact, androids find everything humans do "sketchy". Have you ever noticed how often Neda says "sketchy"?

POV Comp is called STAMP-Pete, hosted by Peter Brown. If Peter can get his eyes off Rachelle for a moment, he will read the postcard of an evicted HG. They have to find 4 puzzle pieces that make up the post card from that person.

Round One: was a postcard from Ika. Jon is the last to put it together and is eliminated.
Round Two: was from Andrew. Adel throws it because he doesn't want to be a threat. (He just stands there. That doesn't prove he's not a threat. Just proves he threw it.)
Round Three: was from Kenny. Rachelle is eliminated.
Round Four: was from Paul. Sabrina is eliminated. Only Heather and Neda remain.

Round Five: was from Sarah. Heather throws it,  and Neda wins.

Neda, Jon and Heather rejoice. Jon picks up Neda in one arm and heather in the other and does a little twirl. Sabrina has another hissy fit. The Gremlins are devastated because one of them are headed to the Jury House to spend the next two weeks with Arlie and Allison. There are no more twists to save them.

Neda gets a letter in the Diary Room. It's a prize for winning the POV. She gets a two-on-one with Emmett and Jillian in the War Room. Neda is very excited. Wait, it's not what I thought. It's just a strategy session. No biggie, but The Milkman brought milk and cookies. Of course, Neda doesn't have any due to the fact that she has no need of human sustenance. She IS an android. Maybe a robot. Well one of those cybernetic electronic things. No human is that skinny. Eat ,Neda, EAT something. Geez. Anyway, here is what they talked about:

  • Neda identified Jon as her closest ally.
  • The more u win the more u have to win.
  • Taking Heather to F2.
  • Have Heather, Adel or Sabrina take Jon out.
  • She played a good game to get this far, but will need a better one to win.
  • Tell the person who will be evicted they will probably be leaving, because they appreciate and respect the truth. Make sure even your goodbye message is good. It's the last opinion they will have of you before going to the Jury House.
  • To win, you have to adapt to each situation.

Now, do you see how ridiculous Adel's strategy is? Being mean to the people you think are headed to the Jury House. Adel is playing to win second place? Nonsense. Nobody plays for second. Ever. He is depending on the argument to the jury that it was his strategy to be mean. Nope. That isn't going to work.

An Easter bunny from 1952 arrives a few days late and leaves his baskets for the HGs. There is an Easter Egg Hunt. The HG with the most eggs wins a reward, the one with the least gets a punishment. Jon wins and gets to make a wish list of 5 consumable items. Neda loses and is put on slop. Which is fine by her because she doesn't need food. Besides, she says parents shouldn't lie to their kids about the Easter Bunny.

At the Veto Ceremony, Neda decides not to use the veto. Shocker. Rachelle says she is not ready to leave yet. Too bad she hasn't even tried to stay. Adel thinks he did such a good job as HoH in destroying the Gremlins. Too bad he couldn't see the bigger threat.

Big Brother Canada Week 10 Finale Episode 29 Spoilers and Recap

Spoilers:
These are unconfirmed spoilers from audience tweets:
Final 3 Competitions: Emmett wins 1st; Gary 2nd; Gary 3rd.
Gary evicted Emmett

Final Jury Vote: Gary vs Jillian...Jillian wins. However there is a rumour that Topaz voted for Jillian in error.

Big Brother Canada Week 10 - Recap of Episode 28, Wednesday May 1, 2013: Bad Math Teacher

Arisa starts the show off by informing us there is no studio audience and everything is Top Secret. Of course it is. Slice stopped airing After Dark and cut the live feeds early Sunday afternoon. Arisa appears on the house's TV screen and the HGs are asked to gather in the living room. For once, Talla doesn't scream. Instead she yells "Oh my God!" Well Talla, let me explain. It's Sunday...the show ends in four days...there are four of you left. Did you think this was just another week and the eviction wasn't until Thursday? Nope. Things are going to start happening quickly.

Talla gets to the living room first and sits on one couch. Emmett, Jillian and Gary are sitting on the other couch. Hmm. Looks like a bit of foreshadowing to me. Arisa says, "House guests...things are about to change. Tonight, someone will be evicted."

But, of course, we have to get caught up with what has been happening in the house. Talla thinks she has a F2 deal with Emmett, along with the F2 she has with Jillian. Gary thinks he has a F2 deal with Emmett. Emmett has a F2 deal with each of the other three. Only Jillian and Gary don't have a F2 agreement - that we know of. Emmett lets it slip to Jillian that Talla has a deal with him. So now Jillian is upset. Emmett is keeping secrets from her. I guess the honeymoon is over Jillian. Give me a break. You are playing for a prize...you're not there to find a husband. Remember Jillian, this is Big Brother, not Bachelor Pad.

The POV comp is called "Safe from Eviction". The HGs have to solve 3 equations on a blackboard, based on events that happened in the house. Each solution is part of the combination to the safe that holds the POV necklace. Sounds simple right? Jillian should have this one in the bag, and of course she tells us math is her subject. Not just that, but because she's a teacher, she's used to using blackboards and stuff. Duh. Well, not as easy as you would think. First of all, the clues to each number were preposterous. These HGs must write everything down in diaries and memorize it all, because there is no way someone would remember these things. But the funniest part was the second equation, 50 - 11. Both Emmett and Jillian misread the minus sign and thought it was addition. Nerves I guess. Then, Jillian - the math teacher, answered 38. Okay. She can't even claim that she threw the comp. No she was trying to win because she wanted to save Talla.

Maybe Jillian should rethink her career choice. When she first hooked up with Emmett, started dry humping him and then let it progress to all out monkey sex, I thought she would have a difficult time holding down a teaching position. Don't be fooled...it might be 2013, but the parents are still going to complain and gossip like it's 1962. But any good union will save her from termination. Now this. She's never going to live this down. She'd be lucky if she doesn't see a giant 50 - 11 = 38 sprawled on the blackboard the next time she walks into a classroom. Anyway, it's Emmett who snaps out of the stupid zone first and wins the over-sized lucite V necklace.

Everyone scrambles for position. Talla talks with Jillian, sounding assured that Emmett will vote out Gary and she will be in the F3. Jillian backs out of the situation. Talla must have known something was up. She only flashed a smile when Jillian looked at her. You know, one of those phoney, kind of awkward smiles? The kind that makes you cringe? Yeah, one of those. Emmett has to warn Talla that he is voting her out because he wants to get her jury vote. She's pissed. She starts packing.

Meanwhile Jillian is getting upset about this. She wonders why Emmett insists on telling Talla, when last week, Emmett wouldn't let her warn Andrew about his eviction. She is starting to think that Emmett is just in this for himself. Holy shit! Here we go again. Jillian...it's a frigging game. To win money and a car and furniture.

But of course there is a possibility this reaction from Jillian could all be producer-driven. It wouldn't be the first time that producers have asked leading questions in the Diary Room confessions just to garner a certain response. Or they could have used some creative editing to set up a dramatic situation. I guess we will see what happens tomorrow night.

Emmett tries to smooth things over with Talla. He gives her a bracelet that Dan Gheesling left. Talla gives Emmett the most gullible look you could possibly imagine, like a lamb on her way to slaughter. Holy crap, I am actually starting to feel sorry for her. Oh well. When the Eviction ceremony comes around, both Talla and Gary give their plea speeches. Talla's actually made sense. Emmett decides not to use the POV, and he chooses to evict Talla. Talla leaves without incident surprisingly enough. Poor girl didn't even get a live studio audience. Just Arisa sitting there. Arisa questions Talla about her talk with Jillian and "playing dumb" about the F3 agreement...as if it was Talla's strategy. Sorry. Not convinced. There is no way I am going to believe her lack of intelligence was just an act.

Arisa ends the episode reminding us that Thursday is the special 2 hour season finale. Yeah I think we know.

Big Brother Canada Recap of Episode 27 Sunday April 29, 2013

We left off last Thursday after the first question in the HOH Competition. It was kind of a random break. Seeing how the so-called "live eviction" isn't really live, you would think they could have timed the whole thing better. Oh well. The comp came down to a tiebreaker, and of course Jillian won. Great. This is just getting ridiculous. And boring.

Talla is a bit upset she didn't win HOH. Jillian tries her best to explain how HOH this week doesn't really matter - winning POV is perhaps more important. The nitwit doesn't get it.

But Emmett certainly does. He also knows that it doesn't even matter who is nominated. He realizes that he is the least desirable person right now to bring into any F3 scenario. He thinks they will all try to target him, but then again, they all should have gotten rid of him long ago.

Then the cry goes out, "Who wants to see my HOH room?" Apparently no one...Including Emmett. Been there done that. In more ways than one. Jillian confesses in the diary room that she knows it's all boring and annoying to everyone. So why does she jump around and act all excited about it? Obviously she just wants to rub everyone's noses in it.

They find a rack of fancy clothes in the Haves bedroom. Talla screams. Apparently they will be the stars of the Bib Brother Awards. Talla screams. They all get ready to the occasional scream from Talla. If I were an HG in that house, those unrelenting screams and screeches would turn me into a nervous wreck. I really think the girl needs to see a doctor, preferably a psychiatrist. Perhaps she needs a few sessions of electric shock therapy. Every time she lets go of a scream...zap!!! Maybe just one of those collars for dogs to stop barking. That might work.

They all get the red carpet treatment, along with the opportunity to strike a pose. Talla ended up looking like a Bratz doll. Jillian looked...meh. Gary looked like, well, Gary. Maybe with a bit more shimmer to his glitter. But Emmett? Now there was a real transformation. Yowza!!! Not too shabby, Emmett!!! Is this guy really a farmer?

They all sit down at a table, like they are at the Oscars only there is no host, guests or fancy dance numbers. They go through a series of nominations and then announce the winner in each category. Then there was even a tribute to the people that were lost. A lovely montage of people that Jillian lied to. Nice. Everyone is having a great time, talking about everything that happened during the season, when Talla's yammering is cut off by Emmett. She gets all hissy about it and goes inside to toss things around and jump on the Bi-Polar Express. Emmett doesn't want to make any enemies, so he follows her inside to calm her down and apologize.

Later on, Jillian takes a moment with Talla to take advantage of the situation. Jillian re-enforces their F2 agreement. Wait a minute. I thought Jillian was planning an F2 with Andrew? Anyway, Jillian is playing Talla. And Talla is buying it. Jillian doesn't have to do this crap anymore. Then she starts to feel guilty and runs to Emmett. Here's the thing - Jillian is constantly lying to everyone about her alliances to other players. Then she goes into the Diary Room and tells us how different she is in real life, and how this game has turned her into a manipulating liar. Then she pulls this kind of crap. It wasn't necessary to do this to Talla - Talla's role in the game is inconsequential at this point...her part is over. So why is Jillian doing this stuff still?

We hear that line, "Part of my duties as Head of Household is to nominate 2 players for eviction." Part of her duties? I am getting kind of tired of hearing this line. And what other duties are there? She nominates Talla and Gary, even though it would have been a good time to nominate Emmett. Dan Gheesling was so right. She is playing for second place. Oh well.

Finale Week Spoilers

Yes, this is the final week of Big Brother Canada - the finale will air next Thursday, May 2! Big Brother After Dark will no longer air, and the live feeds will be cut on Sunday. However, here are a few spoilers of what went down before the feeds went out:
  • Jillian won HOH...for the fourth time.
  • Talla and Gary were nominated for eviction.
  • Emmett won POV and will be the only one who votes in the eviction.
  • Talla appears to be the target for Emmett.
  • Talla is convinced Jillian and Emmett are taking her to the F3 and that it is Gary who will be eliminated. In the feeds, she was taking to the "dark" moose named Marge. She calls it "Henry", probably because they have never been introduced. Talla confided in Henry/Marge that Emmett eliminated Peter and Andrew for her, and she sees no reason that he won't eliminate Gary for her as well.  Let's just say Talla is delusional. Peter was right when he described Talla as not knowing what game she is playing.
So let's look at the F3...and who would win against whom:

Jillian: It's just like Dan Gheesling said. Jillian is playing for 2nd place. Unless she pulls out some monumental speech at the end which can sway the jury, she has no chance of winning. The jury will vote emotionally and against her because she burned each of them. I hope she is in the F2 because I can't wait for the jury questions, especially from Peter, Topaz and Andrew. And the rest of them for that matter. I also can't wait for Peter to tell her "I told you so" - he reserved that right with her.

Gary: He is certainly the emotional favorite, well loved by Canada and the jury. He would win in an F2 against Jillian, even though he is a "returning player" voted back into the game. He managed to do the impossible - survive eviction and drive a wedge into the East Coast Alliance, getting Jillian and Emmett to evict Andrew. If pitted against Emmett in an F2, it may be close but he would lose.

Emmett: Unless Emmett gets completely blindsided getting into the F2, he's got this in the bag. Or unless he does something stupid and concedes it to Jillian. That is doubtful, he's no fool for love. He told Dan Gheesling he already had a plea speech prepped if he's pitted against Jillian. I want to hear that speech. My best guess is that he had Jillian wrapped around his finger. He let her win the HOHs because he didn't need to win them. He never lied to anyone and he was up front with them.

Big Brother Canada Week 9 Recaps and Spoilers

Spoilers from Live Feeds

  • Emmett has won the week 9 HOH Comp "Brick by Brick"
  • There is a bit of controversy that Talla was cheating in the HOH Comp.
  • Emmett has nominated Gary and Andrew for eviction, reserving Talla as a replacement. Note: IF Talla should win POV and save Andrew, then Emmett's only replacement is Jillian.
  • This week's target: at first, Emmett planned Gary, but has seemingly flipped to Andrew. Emmett appears to be trying to develop an alliance with Gary, and trying to get Gary to separate himself from his previous connection to Talla (as of Friday April 19)
  • The POV Comp is called "The Price of Veto"
  • Dan Gheesling is an overnight guest and has been talking to each of the 5 remaining HGs about strategy
  • Gary won POV and has saved himself. Emmett nominated Talla as replacement.
  • April 24: Gary accidentally got a piece of broken glass in his eye and was brought to the hospital. He returned in the middle of the night.
  • Andrew evicted by a vote of 2-0
Recap of Episode 24 - Sunday, April 21, 2013

No one is more pissed off than Andrew that Gary has returned. He won't let it go. He paces around the kitchen throwing out comments and complaints. Not a good idea Andrew. He tells us in the DR that the last week was basically a waste of time and they are back to the F5. Not to mention that it was Andrew who got Gary voted out, so all that work was basically shot out the door. Oh well. Deal with it. It's Big Brother. This is what they do. This is the game. Play it.

While Andrew is about to have an aneurism, Gary is in about to go ballistic and corners Emmett in the Haves room. He really wants to talk to Emmett. Emmett tells him to chill out and stay there while he goes to talk to Jillian. Now Emmett can't make a decision without consulting the little lady. Gary is persistent but Emmett explains that nobody wants him there. Emmett says he's okay with it and he doesn't see it entirely as a bad thing.

Eventually, Gary sits down with Jillian and Emmett. Emmett tells Gary that he will nominate him and Andrew. Gary tells a wee fib - Andrew is popular in the jury house. Gary tells another little lie. He would be happy with 2nd place. Jillian is only now starting to think that she may not be popular in the jury house, and that all her lies may come back to bite her in the ass. Gary's third lie is that Jillian is admired among the jury because she got them voted out. "People respect that".

Meanwhile, Marsha the Moose confronts Talla the Imbecile. Talla jumps. Then she screams. Marsha has a mission for Talla. She is to produce a one hour talk show called "Talking With Talla". Talla has to start the show with a monologue. Talla, true to form, asks "What's a monologue?" Wonderful. Talla then has to interview the other four HGs, getting them to reveal a unique fact about themselves, to which Talla must respond "I did not know that!" Emmett put it best in his DR confession...it was a talk show with someone who can't even form a complete sentence. Gary, Emmett, Andrew and Jillian must have known it was another reward challenge, otherwise I'm sure they wouldn't have sat there and put up with it. Talla completes the challenge and goes back to see Marsha. Marsha tells her she won the reward. Talla screams. Of course she does. If you don't watch the live feeds, you wouldn't know just how much Talla screams. She will be sitting quietly and then suddenly scream for no reason other than nobody has screamed for a while. Perhaps Marsha's next challenge is for someone to get Talla in a fracking straightjacket, and leave her in it. She may even need one of those Hannibal Lector masks.

Then there's the little matter of who to nominate for eviction. This is hilarious - it's like a little merry-go-round. Emmett tells Andrew that he's going to be nominated, to which Andrew replies, "You're an ass". Andrew is a little pissed that Talla plays the I-don't-want-to-be-on-the-block card. So Andrew runs to Jillian to snitch on Emmett. Jillian downplays it, despite the fact she and Emmett agreed that Andrew is dangerous and has to go this week. Now she is flip-flopping on who their target should be. Apparently Jillian trusts Andrew now. So Jillian goes to Emmett. Emmett rips her a new one because she never considered the possibilities. If Talla was nominated, and Andrew wins POV, the only other person to nominate would be Jillian. Emmett raises his voice, "Do you want to go on the block?" I guess Emmett finally grew a pair. Good for you Emmett. Jillian shuts up....or just shuts Emmett out. She says it's best for her game to keep Andrew. Well last week it was best for her game to get rid of Peter, despite Emmett's objections, so it's time to return the favour, bitch!!! But now she's afraid that Andrew won't trust her and Emmett to go to F3. What? Last week she wanted Talla in F3. This could get interesting. With only 2 people voting, there could be a tie and Emmett would make the final decision. Cool.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Emmett puts Andrew and Gary on the block.

Recap of Episode 25 - Wednesday, April 24, 2013

A letter is slid under the front door. It's Talla who finds it and reads it to the others. So she can read after all.  Not long after, the doorbell rings and of course the screaming starts. Talla and Jillian race to the door - Talla with just one shoe on, the other still in her hand. Talla gets there first. In comes Dan Gheesling, winner of BBUS 10. Look out Dan! Oh oh, it's too late. Talla literally attacks him. She jumps up on him, gives him a death hold, flails her legs about while dangling from him...all this while constantly screaming in his ear. Poor Dan. He is either wondering if this is some bizarre Canadian custom or if Big Brother has purposely withheld this chick's medication.

Which reminds me...what the fug is up with the constant screaming from Talla the Imbecile? Got to give the others credit for not picking her up by her scrawny ass and tossing her out the door. Or maybe some immersion therapy where they tie her to a chair and take turns screaming in her ear. That might work. Seriously Talla, seek help. Please.

Anyways, Dan manages to shake Talla off his neck much the same way as a horse gets rid of a pesky fly, and starts to get acquainted with the normal HGs. He stands up and announces he is dressed in black because of a funeral - for one of them. Big Brother has granted him the power of instant eviction and he gets to chose which HG to evict. Everyone is so dumbfounded that they all have the same vacuous look as Talla. Talla just looks like her normal self. Aw, shucks, it's just a joke. Jillian freaks out the most and runs to the storage room for some personal freak out time.

Dan starts to have one-on-one conversations with each of the HGs:

  • Gary Dan tells Gary that he has a tremendous amount of info from being in the jury house with the other evictees...info that Talla, Andrew, Jillian and Emmett don't have. He should use it to his advantage. He also makes Gary aware of a way to break up the Jillian/Emmett showmance this week. If Talla wins POV she can save Gary and Jillian would be put up on the block. Well, that would never happen...Talla winning something?
  • Emmett Dan gets Emmett to analyze his competition. Yeah, he pretty much doesn't have any, including Jillian. Apparently Emmett already has his F2 speech to the jury ready, and it will blow Jillian out of consideration.
  • Jillian She tells Dan she has too much blood on her hands. In a F2 situation, she stands the best chance against Talla and the worst with Emmett. Dan basically tells her she is playing for second place. I guess she should have listened to Peter after all.
  • Andrew Dan tells him he can't sit back and let Jillian and Emmett decide his fate. He needs to make a big move...now.
  • Talla We don't get to see Dan's conversation with Talla, probably because the editors couldn't make any intelligible sense out of it. From the live feeds, I can tell you that Talla was worried that she hadn't won any comps or made any moves. Dan tells her others have won under the same situation. He also tried his best to get her to understand that the Jillian/Emmett showmance has to be broken up, but it went over her head. No...she trusts Jillian and Emmett.
Which reminds me of something else. Has anyone else noticed how Talla seems to be getting "dumber and dumber"? It's as if her level of intelligence is dropping on a daily basis. It's a good thing there are only two weeks left because if it went any longer she would end up a vegetable connected to a feeding tube. Do you think there is any possibility that it's all just an act? Maybe she actually has 3 PhDs? Ah, okay, never mind.

The POV Comp is called "The Price of Veto" and Dan gets to host. They will be offered punishments and rewards in exchange for points towards the POV. The first person to buzz in gets the points. They can't see each other and there is no running commentary from Dan, so they don't know who wins what or who is leading. Emmett and Jillian basically throw the comp, so the battle is between Andrew, Gary and Talla.
Gary accepts having to wear a prison uniform for the week; being on slop for the rest of the show; staying awake for 24 hours; and no showers for a week. Andrew accepts a BB haircut from Dan. Talla managed to buzz in first for having the clothes she's wearing cut off; and she won a slop pass which she thought was a punishment, causing her to lose the points she got from cutting up her clothes. Dumbass. It's Gary who wins the POV thank God!!! Andrew is upset. Oh well. (in the live feeds, he thought the comp was rigged because he couldn't believe Gary was that quick on the buzzer)

Dan has his own little competition for the HGs. He gives them tasks in exchange for their own red bandannas. They all get one. As Dan is leaving, he tells the HGs that someone needs to make a big move. Big move as in breaking up that Jillian/Emmett showmance. Of course he doesn't say that to their faces.

At the POV ceremony, Andrew tries to convince Gary to use it to save him. Ain't going to work with Gary. Maybe if it was Talla standing there, she would fall for it. But Gary saves himself, and Emmett nominates Talla as replacement. So unless there is some sort of "big move" or bargaining or some new twist, it looks like Andrew will be joining his buddy AJ in the jury house tonight.

Recap of Episode 26 - Thursday, April 25, 2013

Emmett has come to the realization that there is only one week left in the game. He has kept up his end of the bargain, but now, everyone else is on their own. One thing to note is that we don't hear Emmett depending on Jillian as much as she depends on him. Interesting. He also says if Andrew wants to stay, he should be making a serious deal. But of course, Andrew is way too dependent on Jillian. See where this is going? It's Jillian! Andrew, you're a fool.

This week in Jillian's brain...She wants Andrew to stay, and thinks Talla doesn't deserve to stay. Looks like she didn't get the memo from Dan, just like she didn't get the one from Peter. Talla is the only one you can possibly beat in the F2. The only one.

There is a quick update from the jury house where everyone is happy Gary was sent back into the game. They hope he kicks ass and bitch slaps that lying bitch Jillian.

Andrew goes to Jillian. He's still convinced there is a F3 agreement with Emmett. So why didn't he talk to Emmett as well? Why is he just taking Jillian's word on this? Great, someone else who didn't get that memo from Dan. He should be campaigning vigorously, making a deal with Emmett and not putting all his eggs in one basket. He needs to make a big move and make it now.

Oh well, too late. It's time to vote for eviction. Only Gary and Jillian vote, and it's 2 to 0 in favour of evicting Andrew. He leaves without incident. Arisa asks him why he depended on the East Coast Alliance, and he said he's never played the game before. He also said he trusted Jillian, and fell victim to Jemmett. No really Andrew...it was just Jillian, cos she's a lying bitch.

the HOH comp is a true and false challenge based on pictures that were displayed for the HGs to study. The trivia questions were so, well, trivial that it was ridiculous. Stuff like "how many blue cups...?". It was Gary, Talla and Jillian competing. If they gave an incorrect answer, they were dropped into very cold water. The episode ended with only one question being asked...the ending to the comp, and the new HOH to be shown on Sunday.

Sunday will also be the last day for the live feeds and BB After Dark. There will be a surprise eviction on Wednesday, which will leave us with the final three.

Big Brother Canada Week 8 Recaps and Spoilers

  • Jillian wins HOH in the "Fly the Coop" comp
  • Live feeds were down most of Saturday, but prior to this, Jillian was undecided on who to nominate, target and/or backdoor.
  • Game talk between Jillian, Emmett, Andrew and Talla made it appear Peter was the target this week BUT this appears to be a rouse. Andrew is the target.
  • Talla and Andrew are Have-Nots
  • Nominations for Eviction are Andrew and Peter.
  • Andrew won POV Comp and saved himself.
  • Jillian Nominated Talla as replacement nominee.
  • Big Brother had Talla and Andrew (as Have-Nots) sit down and watch a video of Emmett and Jillian making out.
  • Jillian wants Peter out because it's best for her game, while Emmett wants Talla out because it's best for his. This may be a decisive wedge between these two.
  • Peter evicted in a 2-0 vote
  • Gary is back in the house
Recap of Episode 21 - Sunday April 14 2013: Something's Rotten on the East Coast

Jillian wins the "Fly the Coop" HOH competition, and celebrates by doing her best impression of a chicken screeching when there's a fox in the henhouse. Then she ran around like, well, a chicken with it's head cut off. And everyone is so happy for her, because it's her THIRD time winning HOH.

All is not well in the East Coast Alliance. Talla is very upset that Emmett had the nerve to nominate her for eviction beside Topaz. Wah. Why not Peter, wah. Meanwhile, Andrew is sure that he will be on the block next. He goes and has a little talk with Jillian. He asks what was up with Emmett putting Talla up and not Peter. And why didn't Peter use his POV to save Topaz. If Peter had saved Topaz, Andrew would have been nominated as replacement, and either He or Talla would have been eliminated. It would have been the "smart" thing to do. They make fun of Peter, saying "Isn't he supposed to be smart? He's the stupidest smart person"...Then they figure it all out. Maybe Emmett is in with Peter...oooh...perhaps there was a deal!

Oh joy! Another HOH win by Jillian means another HOH room, tailored to her wants. Everyone's ecstatic about it. They all have to muster up the energy to put on their best smiley faces and feign interest, when they are all seething with anger. Well, everyone except Emmett that is. No, he is actually happy because it means yet another week of sex in the big round bed. I hope the CSI team doesn't show up with a black light to check out that room. It would probably glow from floor to ceiling. I wonder if Big Brother considers steam cleaning between HOH winners. It's probably the real reason Talla and Peter haven't won HOH...the thought of it...yuck. Andrew voices his opinion, "Another week of Jillian and Emmett up in the HOH room!"

Everyone wonders who Jillian will nominate for eviction, try to strategize several moves ahead, and considers their options. Talla doesn't want to be nominated as the "pond". What a fuggin idiot. Jillian and Andrew sit her down and try to explain the game to her. She doesn't do anything, she hasn't won anything so her only value is to be used as a pawn. Meanwhile, Peter tells us his only ally is Emmett, then he tries his best to sway Emmett's mind. He tells Emmett the real threat to him and Jillian is Andrew. Emmett tells us about Peter's value - he can take the heat in getting rid of Andrew. Jillian cries to Emmett that she doesn't know what to do. Ah, the pressure of being HOH...such torment!!!

The Have/Have-Not comp this week is called "Rub-A-Dub-Dub". There are two teams: Andrew and Talla; and Emmett and Peter. One team member has to scrub the other in the tub with a bar of soap, dissolving the soap to expose a key which they must use to open a locked box for the win. Emmett whispers to Peter his strategy - just rubbing the soap on the skin won't work quickly, so he is going to rub the soap on Peter's bathing suit. Very smart. Of course Andrew didn't figure that one out. And Talla...ahhh, yeah it's Talla. This all proved hilarious. The Teammate doing the scrubbing stood behind the one in the tub, and the tub was one of those old fashioned, high sided ones. Sooo, you couldn't see what was happening. In fact, it looked like something else entirely...like something else was getting rubbed vigorously. Emmett wondered why Andrew was smiling and staring over at them. It may have been enough of a distraction to Andrew (who was trying his best to wear down the soap on Talla's boney knee) for Emmett and Peter to win. Andrew then was suspicious and had to run over and inspect Emmett's soap. But it was a fair win and Talla and Andrew are this week's Have-Nots...

...and Talla goes off again. She doesn't want to be on slop. But wait Talla, there's more. A reward for the Haves. They get one luxury item per day. A punishment for the Have-Nots. Talla and Andrew must do the Have's chores, wake up one hour early every morning, and, get this...watch a 10 minute compilation video of Emmett and Jillian making out every morning. Gotta wonder for what purpose. Sounds like some weird Masters and Johnson experiment in human sexuality. Or perhaps they think Andrew is like the ape at that zoo who won't mate with the female. Or maybe Big Brother is trying to interfere with the game play again and do his best to drive a wedge into the East Coast alliance. It works because Talla has a hissy fit. She's not going to do it. Everyone is annoyed at how annoying the annoying girl is getting. Besides, doesn't she know how stupid it is to pull this kind of crap? She'll just make a target of herself. This scenario sounds good to Andrew and Peter. Let Talla play "Stupid Bitch Talla". Hey Stupid Bitch Talla, meet Lying Bitch Jillian. I'm sure you'll be the best of friends.

Sure enough, at the nomination ceremony, Jillian puts Andrew and Peter on the block. The edit they gave Jillian during this sequence was pathetic. They caught Jillian in the worst moments, giving the worst expressions imaginable. It didn't help when Jillian explained her reasons during the ceremony...and especially when she said she didn't nominate Talla because "she is just too cute to nominate". What? Are we hating Jillian yet? I am. I have for a while now. Even Emmett didn't look very pleased. Wait...do you think that was a little clue? Like she intends to backdoor Talla? We can only hope. Unless Jillian is planning on taking Talla to the finals because that would be an assured win. Maybe even over Emmett? Yes, something's kind of rotten on the East Coast.

...and we have to wait until Thursday for that returning HG!!!

Recap of Episode 22 - Wednesday April 17 2013

Peter tells us that his alliance with Emmett and Jillian remains intact - Andrew thinks he is just a pawn, and Talla thinks she's safe. Emmett tells Jillian again that if Talla wins POV and takes Andrew off the block, then her only choice is to put him up. That argument is just as dumb as Talla. Slim chance of Talla winning anything. All of this leads Andrew to say that maybe Jillian and Emmett aren't as tight as we think. I agree. I think there are gaps there and that both of them would throw the other under the bus to get to the F2.

The POV comp is "Sleep Tight with the POV". It's a four stage competition: clean green paint "plaque" off a giant set of teeth with an oversized brush; put a slide-piece puzzle together; find a Serta Sheep with a red star on it's tag; and finally climb up a pyramid of mattresses and jump into bed. Yeah, it's just one big product placement for Serta and the Brick. The POV winner also gets a $10,000 Brick gift certificate. The HGs are given clear instructions not to talk or help each other. As if that needed to be said. Andrew and Emmett make it through the teethbrushing part by banging the brush on the paint. Emmett turns to Jillian and tells her to hit the brush. She says "What?" and he makes a banging motion. Big Brother chimes in to announce that Emmett is disqualified. Fine. BUT WHY WASN'T JILLIAN? Why didn't they DQ that LBJ (Lying Bitch Jillian) as well? She was cheating too. Emmett has another meltdown. Big time. In the end it's down to Jillian and Andrew, but it's Andrew who wins the POV.

Peter in his DR confession says he finds himself in real danger this week. He has been successful in staying undetected as a target up to now...a target is someone who "doesn't matter" and "I have not mattered my entire life". Now, I am loving Peter as much as I am hating Jillian, the lying bitch or Talla the stupid bitch.

Meanwhile, Emmett is still pissed. Andrew doesn't help the situation by gloating and saying stuff like he wanted to muzzle Emmett when he tried talking to Jillian. Now Emmett is thinking that Andrew doesn't have his back and can't be trusted. Hmmn, what an interesting situation we have developing here.  Jillian walks out of her room and announces, "Oh my, my room is so dirty!" Immediately the puppy dog jumps up to attend to her needs. No, she wasn't requesting sex from Emmett. It was Andrew. He sees it as a chance to go over strategy with Jillian. The room had a bit of garbage  laying around here and there. A bit. Jillian says she is now seeing Emmett as a threat because he has no blood on his hands. They make a deal and promise to take each other to the final two. They shake on it, rather enthusiastically I might add. Very convincing. Then there is a Jillian DR confession...."I lied". Of course you did Jillian. You are, after all the Lying Bitch. So, from now on....everything that Jillian says, we should all assume she means the opposite.

The red phone rings and everyone except Talla runs for it. But the lying bitch gets there first. The reward is called "Freeze/Unfreeze". The HGs must freeze when Big Brother announces and cannot move until they hear "unfreeze". Hey, Big Brother, you can really mess with the HGs with this one. Like pouring ice cubes down Emmett's pants or tickling the shit out of Talla. What do they do? First they send in a Sumo wrestler who makes his sumo=type threatening stances to Andrew, lays down next to Emmett and eats some food. Big deal. Then they send in 5 cheerleaders who prance around, give each HG a cheer and get a rise out of each of the guys. So to speak. Poor Andrew. First, Big Brother makes him watch a Jillian and Emmett almost-porn every morning, now he's getting turned on by these bimbos. When BB announces unfreeze, Talla jumps up with joy and screams. For some reason, she thinks the cheerleaders are like the best thing EVER!!! Oh, wow! We briefly hear her say "I should be a cheerleader". Well, she wasn't kidding. In the live feeds, she repeatedly practiced her own cheers. Much to the annoyance of everyone else. Is she fuggin crazy? Does she not realize she's already on thin ice? Does she think she can win for being the most nauseating person on the face of the Earth?

Then the final freeze. Andrew's brother Peter comes in to taunt him with videos of his nieces. Andrew's face leaks. How sweet. Not really. But he stays frozen in place, and everybody wins a video call from their family. This actually makes some of them nervous, like Peter, who hopes his family won't give away his true personality or secrets. He's been portraying himself differently inside the house. If I was Jillian, I wouldn't want to be hearing from my Mom. She must be very proud of her little girl. First, she's copulating with Emmett every 5 minutes - on national TV no less. Then she's become a lying bitch. Wow. I wonder if she realizes that people are Googling terms like "Jillian Emmett sex", looking for images and videos?

Andrew saves himself at the POV ceremony. Nothing unexpected there. Jillian nominates Talla as replacement and tells her, "You're a victim of circumstances". It's more like she's a victim of the Lying Bitch. Well, another victim.

Recap of Episode 23 Thursday April 18 2018

Talla is still whining and Jillian's still lying. Andrew is complaining, Emmett is pussy whipped and Peter is in full a state of perpetual depression. Such is life in the Big Brother Canada House. Lovely.

Peter has a sit down with Talla hoping to put words in her mouth that he can use against her. He then goes to Jillian and tells her that Talla is hoping to go to the F2 with Andrew. This was his downfall. Up until this point, Jillian was planning on voting Talla out. Of course, the stupid one runs to Jillian about Peter. So Peter tries to get it in Jillian's head that if she keeps Talla her odds of winning are 1 in 3, whereas keeping him is 50-50.

Emmett gives Peter the bad news that he is going home, and that it will be a unanimous vote. Emmett will vote with Andrew to evict Peter. Why? Well in Emmett's own words, "Jillian says a split vote is disrespectful". Ah...what? Disrespectful to Peter or to you, Jillian? "Jillian says". Huh. Hey Emmett, guess what Jillian is really saying with that? It's disrespectful to her because if it was a tied vote, the onus is on her to vote Peter out and having another jury member pissed at her. She doesn't give a shit about your game. It's time to wise up Emmett...that pussy's got a whip.

For some stupid reason, we have to be subjected to an assortment of BBUS stars and their opinions: Rachel, Hayden, Janelle and Ian. Completely meaningless dribble like Hayden saying the only way to stay safe is to win. Okay, thank you. Bah-bye now. Moving on...

It's time for the eviction vote. Talla babbles something for her plea. peter stands up and gives the Shield X sign. Andrew the Asshole goes in. He says, "I don't know what this "X" means, but I vote to evict Peter". Not only is he an asshole, he's totally clueless. Emmett the Spineless goes in, and votes to evict Peter. The audience is very upset. Before Arisa finishes reading the results, he stands up, grabs his bag and leaves. The good news is that he gets a standing ovation from the audience. Arisa asks his opinion on who will win the game. Emmett should win because he is the only one left in there who understands the game. Everyone else is useless. Talla doesn't know what game she is playing. Andrew is still in the game only due to luck. Jillian thinks winning HOH is winning the game.

They cut to the Jury House. It's nestled somewhere deep in cottage country. AJ is living the good life there, but the Pawn Star is lonely. Gary makes his grand entrance wearing a pair of rather extreme, one butt cheek peek-a-boo pants, yelling "Alec is a Motherfucker!!!" Then Alec comes in and shakes AJ, exclaiming he never should have voted for him. The 3 guys are living the good life when Topaz comes in to ruin Alec's life. She blames Peter for it (not saving her with the veto) but good old Gary defends Peter. Gary seems to have a great handle on the gameplay.

It's time for Arisa to announce who the returning jury member is. AJ, Gary, Alec and Topaz make their superstar entrances. Gosh golly gee, these 4 all get along so famously. Even Alec and Topaz are still carrying on with their "friendship with benefits" thing. But, it's Gary that Canada has voted back into the house. Fuck yeah! Get in there Gary and bitch-slap that Jillian for us! He makes his entrance and everyone is so excited to see him. But you just know, their sense of security just went out the door with Peter.

The HOH comp is called Brick by Brick. Jillian sits offside, unable to compete and nervous as hell. Emmett, Andrew, Talla and Gary must assemble a puzzle of 19 colour pieces. They must keep the coloured side facing them, and not turn the pieces over. Meaning they are not to peek at what the finished puzzle picture is. Funny thing is...Talla, ever so slightly gives each piece just a little peek. There should be a disqualification, but probably won't. As usual, we won't find out officially who wins until Sunday, but already from live feeds, it looks like Emmett has won the week 9 HOH. Lets hope he grows a new spine.

Big Brother Canada Recap of Week 5

Recap of Live Feeds (Spoilers)

Emmett wins POV

Recap of Episode 12 - Sunday, March 24, 2013: It's Like a Maze in Here!

Well isn't everything just peachy keen now that the loathsome pair of Tom and Liza are out of there? Sounds like a good excuse for a party. And look there... in the storage room, AJ....how convenient! A Big Brother drop off...wine and beer. Perhaps Big Brother thought that if Talla gets plastered again she might give Peter, AJ or Andrew another lap dance. No such luck. But they do play a game of Spin the Bottle. Okay. What person over the age of 12 plays Spin the Bottle? Just cut to the chase and play some strip poker. Wait a minute. This is looking kind of funny after all. Andrew gives Gary and AJ some big ones. Maybe he has found his inner glitter. Things get really interesting when Topaz and Talla kiss with perhaps a little extra show for the boys. AJ permanently filed that picture away for future use. He says it's all that he can see when he closes his eyes. He closes his eyes. "Ooops, there it is". Peter says it was "a mish-mash of eroticism in there".

Strategy wise, this week we see Alec and Peter plotting over who the next target should be. Apparently they have had enough of Suzette and her inappropriate comments, emotional outbursts, non-motivating life advice and persistent ass-kissing. Sounds good to me!!! Alec tells Peter, ...that Topaz said, ...that Suzette said, ...she thinks Alec and Peter are the real masterminds of the house. Phew. No shit Suzette! Now Suzette wants to put up Peter and Alec for eviction, if she ever wins HOH. So now Alec and Peter want Suzette gone because there is always the slim, 1,000,000 to 1 odds that Suzette might win an HOH challenge. And we can't have that. She's got to go. And they will put up AJ as a pawn....again. Peter says everyone deserves a second chance...but three? Canada can't save her again.

So why do I have this nagging feeling that the producers are planning some new twist and will save Suzette again? Geez. Enough already Big Brother...cut her lose. Please.

We also learn that Emmett now sees Jillian as his closest ally now that Tom has left the building. So it looks as though he has given up on Peter and Alec and the remains of the Quatro.

The HGs are all called outside where they find a plexiglass maze and look, it's a brand new car!!! Yep, its time for the new Head of Household Competition. This week they must navigate through the maze and collect the first number of the addresses of 4 of Canada's landmarks. This forms a code which they must use to get the key to open the door of the Chevy Trax, then honk the horn. Is it just me, or are these comps getting a bit confusing? Well at the very least they are long-winded. Besides becoming the new HOH, the winner gets 10,000 bucks and an "extra" reward. Hmmn. Wonder what that will be? It can't be the car...this is Canada after all. Alec and Peter don't plan on winning HOH because that just leads to jealousy and hate and makes them a target...unless it looks like Suzette might take it. Good strategy, because you never can tell. The only problem is that they have to go before Suzette gets her turn. So they have to put in a good time. Peter fails at mazes, but Alec really books it. Talla gets so confused she eventually gives up. Hey, I told you it was confusing. Then its Suzette's turn. You know what's funnier than a fat woman racing through a narrow maze? Nothing. Seems like Alec and Peter had nothing to worry about after all. Emmett and Jillian put in good times. AJ was more concerned with coming up with a one-liner. This time he used, "It's like a maze in here". Everyone laughed.

It's Alec who wins with the best time and becomes the new HOH, along with 10,000 bucks and the extra reward. They give Alec the car keys again and tell him to go see. Oh my God! Are they actually going to do it? Are they really going to give him the car? Ahhh....no it's just a video message from his Mom. Told you so. Alec gets all teary-eyed and says he misses his family. I think he was just disappointed they didn't give him the car. One thing's for sure...Alec sure doesn't look like his Mom.

Alec shows off his HOH room. Since he got a video message from his Mom, his letter is from his good friend who tells him about a bet on how long it would be before Alec started going shirtless.

Then, just as Alec and Peter predicted, it begins. Jealousy and hate reartheir ugly heads. Seems like Andrew is none-too-happy about getting the short end of last week's HOH. Alec let Andrew win, but the second HOH in a double eviction week only lasts about 20 minutes. He didn't get his own HOH room or luxury items. He didn't even get the complimentary ass-kissing from the other house guests. No. He didn't get any of it. And now...that back-stabbing Alec wins HOH. Gets the room. Gets the luxury items. Gets the ass-kissing. Even if it is just Suzette doing the kissing. Doesn't matter. And to top it all off...he gets TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! What the hell is that all about? BASTARD. Why that son-of-a-bitch!

And then there's Peter who says...if it comes down to just Alec and me in the final, everybody is going to look at Alec and say, well he already won $10,000, so lets give it to Peter.

The Nominations for Eviction ceremony is no surprise at all. It's AJ and Suzette, with Suzette as the target and poor AJ getting used like, ...well like a pawn. Again. But once again I plead with you Big Brother....no more surprises, twists or special Canada-Votes-to-Save crap. Let's just let this play out and stop saving Suzette!!!

Recap of Episode 13 - Wednesday March 27, 2013

Poor Suzette. She wonders what she did to be nominated 3 times. Well, let me tell you, Suzette. Nobody wants to incessantly hear about your three kids. Nobody wants to hear about how winning Big Brother Canada will help you bring your kids on a vacation. Or when people are talking about something, you always have to turn it back to you and your problems. The more you harp on about yourself, the more the other players will want to get rid of you. I am sure Eviction Thursday didn't come quick enough. Guilt and sympathy is not a good strategy. And I still want to know in what universe are you a "Motivational Speaker"? That's what was in her bio...I just don't get that.

Alec and Peter double up in the Diary Room, and it couldn't be funnier. Alec notices the volume of Peter's voice in there and says the walls really are soundproof. Then he does an impersonation of Peter which was spot-on.

Emmett tells us again that his new final two alliance is with Jillian. As if we or the house guests couldn't tell. Seems like their relationship has taken a giant leap forward in this last week without the evil Tom around. They are just going to lay low and follow along with the majority. Emmett warns Jillian not to tell Andrew anything.

Talla gives Topaz a bikini wax and the screams reverberate throughout the house. Of course it's Gary who goes to investigate. he runs into the room and goes, "Woh!!!", then yells downstairs "Who wants to see Topaz' (BLEEP) get waxed?" Then he sits down with them and watches. And when I say watches, he was right in there, like he was dissecting a frog in high school biology. Topaz says, "If I find out Gary's really straight, there's going to be some problems".

The POV competition is called "Cabin Fever". The players are Alec, AJ and Suzette, along with Gary, Emmett and Jillian. Peter is the host and does his best impression of a Hillbilly. They have to use a tin can attached to the top of their heads to catch cold water, run across the grass, climb a ladder and fill a Thermometer container. Or as Hillbilly Pete calls it, a Ther-Mo-Meter. Well I guess you have to envision that with a hillbilly twang. But there are holes punched in the can, and Pete warns to watch the wet grass, or it will "Git slicker than Snot on a glass doorknob". Besides playing for POV, the winner will also get a one week Slop Pass. Heehaw!!! Of course, Suzette can't get the hang of it, and she is hoping that Gary wins it for her. See, there's that attitude. Self pity is a bummer. Gary gives it a good try, but Emmett wins it. Kind of wonder if Gary threw it so that he wouldn't feel obligated to save her and make himself a target.

Ah, Marsha. This week her challenge pick is AJ. AJ is perplexed at first that the moose is talking to him. Did these people never see that moose in front of the Diary Room, and wonder about it? Have they never seen the Country Bears Jamboree at Disney World? It kind of sticks out like a sore thumb. Anyways, Marsha tasks AJ with suckering 2 house guests to help him with his obstacle course because he is going to make a workout DVD. Okay. In case you haven't seen AJ working out, well, its effort-less. Not effortless, but effort-less, as in there is no effort at all. Somehow Talla, Topaz and Andrew help him out. Maybe they suspected something was up. AJ wins a Summer BBQ Pool Party. Then Talla gets drunk.

The POV Ceremony. Emmett tells Suzette he doesn't like her gameplay which consists of using guilt trips, and chooses not to use the POV to save anyone. What a shocker. He wants Suzette gone. Suzette doesn't think she's done anything wrong or that she's been guilt trippin' anyone. Wow. Just call her Mrs. Oblivious.

Recap of Episode 14 - Thursday March 28, 2013

The episode starts where it left off the night before. Emmett goes to talk with Mrs. Oblivious who is upstairs crying. He tries again to explain why people don't like her gameplay - translation: they just find her annoying. Holy crap, I find her annoying, and I haven't been locked in a house with her for over a month. She still doesn't get it. In the Diary Room, she has to say it yet again...."I have three children at home". I want to reach into the TV and bitch slap her. Everyone else in the house is single and they don't want to hear about this kind of crap. Several times now either Emmett or Alec have talked to her. If she would just snap out of the constant "three kids at home" sympathy talk, and actually played the game, she wouldn't be on the block. Play the game and make a deal. She knows it's Alec and Peter who are ruling the house. Keep quiet, lay low, make a deal. When Alec, Peter or whoever else sits down to "be honest" with her, they are waiting for an offer. I really don't know why she is there.

Seems like the whatever-mance between Alec and Topaz is on shaky ground. Topaz ignores the morning wake-up alarm by wearing Alec's headphones. Big Brother keeps the alarm going until all the HGs are out of bed. Standard practice. Obviously, everyone is getting pissed off. Then Big Brother punishes Topaz by taking away Alec's iPod and headphones. Oh yeah, that makes sense. Big Brother is starting to sound more like Big Momma. "If you don't get out of bed right away and get to school, I'm going to take away that iPod!". This gets The Shield + One (Alec, Peter and Emmett) riled up enough to suggest Topaz as the next eviction target. Alec is perfectly willing to put an end to the Showmance-Sham. But, Topaz talks to Gary, then runs to Alec with an apology. The showmance continues for now, which may prove to be a good thing.

Big Brother arranges a "Date Night" for the two eviction nominees, AJ and Suzette. They have to invite another couple...2 HGs who aren't involved in a showmance. They pick Talla and Peter. Everyone else must play roles in this makeshift dinner theatre. Of course the waiters are Jacques (Emmett) and Ricardo (Alec) - both shirtless except for a bow-tie. Dinner, Chippendale style.

Then there is a pinata. And it's shaped like a treasure chest. Wouldn't that automatically tell you that there just may be something besides candy in there? Like some kind of Big Brother reward? While everyone else is gathering up the candy, Gary notices a piece of paper and picks it up. A-ha! Lo and behold, Gary has won a special Veto power. he can replace one POV player with another. So if Gary wants to win the next POV comp, he can replace anyone with Talla. Not exactly a guaranteed game-changer. Unless Topaz nominates The Shield and Gary wants the nominees to stand.

Eviction Ceremony. You know, I am going to go out on a limb here and make a crazy prediction. I think they are going to vote Suzette out. Sure enough, Suzette is out of there with a vote of 6 to 1. Bye bye Suzette. Don't go away mad, just go away. When she talks to Arisa, she brings up the fact yet again that she has 3 kids at home. Well now you can go back home and take care of them. Believe it or not, they need you.

So boring!!! Quick, we need an HOH competition. And it's another memory quiz. They have to answer if "event A" occurred before or after "event B". Easy, right? Yeah sure, it starts out easy enough, with questions that even I could answer. Then it kind of gets stupid with events so trivial that ANY answer would just be a guess. Looks like everyone but Andrew, Topaz and Talla took a dive on one question all at once. Then it was just a matter of odds, 50-50 for each question. Before or After...nobody knew. Andrew guessed wrong, so it's just Topaz and Talla. Talla? Isn't that proof right there? They prove that taking a guess is just a real crap shoot...Talla misses, of course. Topaz is the new HOH. Peter doesn't look too happy. Is it because he wanted Topaz out this week, or is he kind of afraid she might nominate him for eviction? Does The Shield have to work some big strategy here and call in some favours?

Big Brother Canada Recap of Week 4

Recap of Live Feeds: (Spoilers)

  • The live feeds have been on and off since Friday morning.
  • Apparently Emmett cheated during Thursday's "Bees Knees" HOH competition - he carried some of the "pollen" balls in his hands, despite the V/O warning from Arisa. He was disqualified and a new HOH comp was won by Gary. Emmett was not allowed to compete.
  • Liza has been "outed"...the HGs are aware of her strategy - using all the guys.
  • Peter is aware of Liza's manipulation and feels like a fool.
  • Nominees for Eviction are Tom and Liza
  • Alec wins POV comp. Tom pressured Alec to take him off the block, but Alec chose to let the nominations stand.
  • Tom is distancing himself from Liza.

Recap of Episode 9: Sunday, March 17, 2013 - Big Brother Rule Number 1: Never hold your balls on national TV

With Emmett winning the HOH, the Quatro and their womenfolk are rejoicing. The only burr in Emmett's side is Liza...she's too controlling. She controls Tom. But its becoming evident that she is playing all the guys. Emmett warns Tom not to spill Quatro's beans to her. Emmett shows off his HOH room and his luxury items. His letter from home includes his Mom telling him she likes Gary, his brother saying to be careful about the showmance, and his father saying something about playing respectfully. Interesting.

Suddenly the front door opens and in pops a munchkin direct from Emerald City. Sorry, wrong cultural reference. I guess he's supposed to be a leprechaun. Saints be praised!!! Then some more people dressed in green which we are supposed to believe are Irish, including one guy who's as drunk as, well, an Irishman. Jesus Murphy, I'm offended. I am, after all one forth Irish. And what kind of Irish Jig was that? Have they never seen Riverdance? It seems to me there is a double standard going on here. I mean, Passover is coming up...why didn't they have a Rabbi parade? If it was Gay Pride Day, would they have a parade? Okay forget that one. If it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day, would they have had a parade of African Americans? Okay maybe I'm pushing it, but you see where I'm coming from? I regress.

Topaz, in a moment of self-realizing regret, points out that everyone should have been keeping track of what was going on in the parade...because this is Big Brother after all, and it will probably be part of the Have-not competition. Everyone starts reviewing the events in their wee little brains. Sure enough...

Then an announcement by Big Bro, " House guests...please go to the living room". Oh oh. What's up with that? Big Bro continues, "Four of you were caught cheating in the Bees Knees HOH competition". Yeah yeah. Hey Big Brother, we already know. Everybody knows. All of Canada knows. Even some over-zealous Big Brother American fans know. We saw it last Thursday night. Stop being so dramatic. Everyone tries to look innocent. Gary says, "They punish people for that?" Then the video evidence is shown to the HGs. The four numbskulls who cheated were Talla, Jillian, Alec and....Emmett. They are this week's Have-nots. Hah! You idiots forgot the number 1 Big Brother rule - never hold your balls in a live competition. Oh yeah there is one more little thing, Emmett is no longer HOH. There will be a new competition and the four ball-holding cheaters will not compete. Neither will Tom. Basically, Tom is screwed. He says his only hope is Liza, which as far as he knows is wrong. Remember, he thinks he still has the Quatro...what's wrong with Peter?

All this drama. But it makes me wonder, what if the HOH competition wasn't "Live"? What if it was edited? Would the production have overlooked it and allowed Emmett to remain as HOH if Canada hadn't put up such a fuss? You bet.

Sure enough the HOH Comp re-do is a trivia challenge based on that shameful so-called "Irish Parade". Suzette bolts into the lead then decides to throw the competition because she doesn't want to become a target again as HOH. So even though Topaz spilled the beans, seems the only one with enough brains is Gary. He is the new HOH and to say he's happy about it is an understatement. Actually, there is no word in existence to describe how happy Gary is. Magical blue glitter.

Poor, poor Emmett. Alone in his HOH room. Packing up his stuff. Reading that damn letter from his family. What did Dad say about respect? Shit. He's right again. Then he goes to the Have-not room and throws himself down on the bed. Cheer up, Emmett. At least Jillian is a Have-not too. So you can get a hand job under the blankets every night. Much to the dismay of their fellow roommates Talla and Alec....perhaps they can get some noise-cancelling earphones in there. Going to need them. If it was me, I would hose those two down when they started up. At least get a bucket of slop to throw on them.

Emmett and Topaz talk about Liza and what a liar she is. They have noticed Liza playing all the guys, and they think she has a secret alliance with Peter. Who comes walking in but Peter. Oh oh. They point out to Peter that Liza is playing him, so he has to cover his butt. He plays the sympathy card...Liza is just using him like all other women do. It looks like it works.

Gary LOVES his HOH room. Pink feathers and blue glitter. His letter is from his Mom and sis who tell him not to wear so much makeup. The camera zooms in on his glitter eyes. Too late, Mom! Gary takes his new found HOH leadership like the Queen rules England. He is sick of the little people getting stepped on. He really wants to shake things up. He has an audience with each of his subjects. He's taking names. Peter tells him to go after the pairs...the showmances because they are the dangerous ones.

Eviction Nomination: Gary nominates Tom and Liza. He quickly points out that he is after Liza and that Tom is just a pawn. Gary is returning the situation that Tom put him in last week. And yet, Tom is mad, because Gary promised him he wouldn't. Tom is just a hot-tempered A-hole. It will probably lead to his ruin or someone will use it to their advantage. Like Emmett, who told Gary to put up Tom. And lets not forget that this week is a double eviction. And why is it that Suzette has really dodged another bullet and come out of this mess with her ass smelling like roses?

Recap of Episode 10 Wednesday March 20, 2012 The Revenge of the Nerds

This episode was all about watching Tom and Liza squirm and Gary definitely getting his revenge. Emmett explains that Tom is a complete emotional player and that there is no strategy in his game. he tells Gary he will take the heat from Tom because he's the one who told Gary to put up Tom and Liza. Emmett wants Liza out. I'm sure Gary already had that one figured out though.

Liza tries her damnedest to suck up to Gary, "I have no hard feelings". Right. Gary more or less tells her she is gone. She loses her temper a bit but counters with telling him she had his back. Gary's diary room confession is terrific...he does an impersonation of Tom as a muscle bound ape. Priceless. And he's right.

Emmett says "Tom is on the dark side now" because he keeps protecting Liza. He asks Tom if his alliance is with him or Liza. Tom says his alliance is with Emmett 100%, but Emmett's not convinced. Then he makes a big mistake. He tells Tom that he went to Gary about putting up Tom and Liza. Tom is not happy he wasn't told about being a pawn. He's a blindsided pawn. Then Alec tries to set Tom straight by telling him he would have gone to Liza about it. He's hoping Tom won't tell Liza about the existence of The Quatro. Good luck with that.

Gary tells the HGs about Canada's vote - The Have-nots have to give pedicures to the haves. Alec gives Tom and Suzette pedicures. Gary is extremely excited about Emmett massaging his feet. He says the future Mrs. Emmett will be a very lucky woman - massages, pedicures and he's sure Emmett can really put it down.

The POV Competition is the Big Brother Bonspiel, or human curling. The six players - Gary, Tom, Liza, Alec, Jillian and AJ must use the remaining 6 HGs, sitting on blocks of ice, as curling rocks. Poor Gary, he gets Suzette as his rock. Hardly fair when Tom gets someone like Talla who weighs 96 pounds. Alec has no intention of winning, but finds he must put some effort into it to insure that Liza and Tom don't win POV. In the final round, its Alec, Tom and Gary. Alec wins. He had to since Gary couldn't or maybe wouldn't go for the win.

Oh and what's this? Alec and Peter, aka The Shield, are talking to Gary. Seems like Gary went to the guys with a perfect plan to get Tom out of the house. Alec and Pete tell Gary they will appear to be campaigning for a Liza vote. but don't worry, its all just a rouse. They give each other the "Nyah Ha Ha" evil mastermind laugh.

Of course, Alec decides not to save Tom at the POV Ceremony.

Now Tom is suspecting something's up. Maybe he's not just the blindsided pawn. Maybe he is the real target everyone is trying to blindside. He's also thinking even his own alliance is trying to get rid of him. So what is a hothead like Tom supposed to do about that? Why, he's going to make sure he screws them over good. "Karma's a bitch", he says. So, he tells Liza about Quatro. I don't think Tom understands what karma is. This is revenge...this is back-stabbing, not karma. Karma is a force that balances things out. He's not just a hothead, he's a stupid hothead. Perhaps the worst kind.

But then this week isn't just the regular eviction, it's going to be a double eviction.

Recap of Episode 11: Thursday March 21, 2013 - Fast and Furious

This episode went so fast, there was time for only one sequence of interaction between the housequests. It was a doozy. Tom is on a bit of a rampage, and is looking for what he defines as fun vengeance. He goes into the bathroom and opens the shower door on Alec in full view of the camera, of course. Alec is not amused. In fact, he's acting like an assault victim, knowing that there will be naked footage all over the internet...and although it was quick, people can always freeze frame it. Alec says Tom is a bully, and doesn't have a conscience. Topaz goes ballistic on Tom...it wasn't just a prank, it was personal because Alec didn't use his POV to save him. So you have to wonder, what the hell is wrong with this guy? Nothing like giving everyone in the house additional reasons to vote you out.

So that was that. Arisa addresses the HGs who have gathered in the living room, and tells them there is another twist - this will be the first Double Eviction. And off we go...everybody hold on.

The first eviction was really no surprise. Tom was evicted with a vote of 8 to 1 (Emmett was the only one to vote for Liza, so that tells us he was pretty much kept out of the loop or he wanted to appear to be true to his alliance). Loved the recorded goodbye from Peter, which is always amusing...."Don't worry about Liza, I'll keep her warm". Snap. I'm surprised he didn't tell Tom that he was a victim of The Shield. What a missed opportunity.

The new HOH Competition was a series of 1-on-1 questions based upon the outcomes of previous comps. Won't go into specifics, but it came down to Alec vs Andrew in the final, with Alec giving it up to Andrew.

The new HOH, Andrew, had only the commercial break to nominate two for eviction. He didn't consult anyone, but it was no surprise that Liza was nominated with Suzette as a pawn.

The POV Comp was called Kid in a Candy Store. It was between Andrew, Liza, Suzette, Peter, AJ and Emmett, and it was another memory challenge. They had to put the first five losing HGs from the Lumber Jack and Jill Comp (the 1st HOH comp) in order...but had to chew gum, race to the board on bounce balls and use the chewed gum to paste the HG's pic. Phew. A whole lot of trouble for nothing, because we just knew that unless Liza won she was going to be walking out the door. Well she didn't. Emmett won and got a chance for his own revenge. Of course he chose not to use the POV. And get this, Liza was eliminated by an unanimous 8 to 0. Yippee!!!

Once again, Peter's recorded goodbye was the best, "It's a shame you didn't choose brains over brawn, cos now your gone".

There was no time for the week 5 HOH competition. That will be shown Sunday. The live feeds are down until Friday night, presumably during the HOH competition filming. Maybe it's an endurance challenge?
