Big Brother Canada 4 Episode 8: The BBGrand Dismisses Maid for Sleeping on the Job

To paraphrase Tim, it's funny that the person who was on the block last week is running the show this week. He's not wrong, but he's not quite correct either. There is dissension among the ranks. This is Loveita's second HoH, Will this one go the way she wants - to get Cassandra evicted, or will it be another wasted HoH?

Cassandra began campaigning for support the minute Loveita nominated her. Christine on the other hand, continued with her 2-fold strategy of staying in bed or fulfilling her duties as the BBGrand house maid. She only went into campaign mode after the POV Ceremony. And when I say campaign mode, I mean a half-hearted attempt at best.

Big Brother Canada 4 Episode 2: Noobs, Noobs Everywhere

When last we left our cozy new batch of houseguests, the first HoH was won by Loveita and they were all told a major twist would soon be revealed. All seemed right in the world to those viewers out there who erroneously believed - as did Loveita and several other Houseguests, that winning the first few HoHs is a good thing.

Aaah, Noobs. They make the game so much more interesting.

BBCan3 Episode 20 The Triple Eviction Bloodbath

Finally, the big night is upon us. Three house guests will be heading off to the jury house.

But first...

We have to get a little background that will basically set the tone of the bloodbath. Because what's a good bloodbath without a good story to go with it?

Bobby is basically a goner, but he's not going to give up just yet - just like he never gave up on the Chop Shop. He's a pretty stubborn guy. He needs something, anything that he can use for ammo. So he sneaks out to the backyard and listens at the hot tub door. He overhears Ashley, Willow and Sarah bragging about how they chopped the Chop Shop. Alright!!! More proof there is a girls' alliance. Kinda. But it's something, and he can spin it to Zach to get that vote flipped.

But, tit for tat, Ashley, Willow, Sarah, and Pili take a turn listening to the guys at the hot tub. Funny how that happened. They hear Zach tell Godfrey, Bruno and Bobby he has a "good take on Ash." Oh, oh. Ashley's not very happy about this.

Now the strange thing here is that Brittnee is nowhere to be seen and isn't involved in any of this. Too bad, because if she was there she would have seen this for herself.

Despite all this, Bobby is evicted unanimously 7 to 0. So much for the Chop Shop. So much for Bruno's loyalty. So much for the guys trying to flip the vote against this so-called Girls' Alliance.

One down and two to go.

The HoH Comp is called "Talk of the Block" - a simple A or B trivia on past nominations and veto ceremonies. The winner is Brittnee - the one person who wasn't involved in all the guy vs girl drama.

Arisa tells them to head directly to the living room, where she tells them this week is very different and tonight, two more of them will be leaving. A wave of shock and fear spreads among them. Give me a break. They suspected something big was coming up. After all, there are still 9 of them left in the house, and there's only 3 weeks left. Brittnee is given only a few minutes to decide on her noms so she hauls Sarah into the storage room. Sarah tells her to prioritize the others by their threat level, so Brittnee nominates Zach, Kevin and Pili. It's clearly an attempt to break up the Diaper Alliance.

The PoV comp is called "BB Workshop". They must find gears with the names of evicted house guests, arrange them in order, then turn the gears to illuminate a lightbulb. Bruno wins. He chooses to use it to take Zach off the block.

Brittnee names Willow as the replacement nominee. Good for her game but bad, bad, bad for Sarah. Truth be told, Sarah didn't exactly press Brittnee back in the storage room how unhappy she would be if Willow went up on the block.

What happened next is something we didn't see. Before the vote, everyone was given a few minutes to decide on their vote. Bruno and Godfrey are talking in the storage room when Sarah comes in to quickly say, "We're saving Willow, right?" Bruno rips into her - bringing up the guy/girl ratio. That's a nice way to put it. Godfrey actually has to hold Bruno back. I know the stress must be getting to these guys, but this incident just bumped Bruno down to the bottom of my list to win. Bad form, Bruno. Bad form.

With 3 nominees, the vote is a vote to save, not evict. Sarah, Godfrey and Ashleigh vote to save Pilar. Zack and Bruno vote to save Willow. Of course, you're asking: why did Sarah not vote to save Willow? Remember what just happened in the storage room? Sarah was sure the guys were going to save Kevin, so she voted to save Pilar hoping at least one girl would survive the vote.

Kevin and Willow are evicted.

Be sure to watch the next episode on Sunday at 7 PM...we'll get to see the aftermath - including Bruno apologizing to Sarah, and both he and Zach continuing to call her a snake. I think these guys better look in the mirror. Geesh.

And one last thing. The last Twistos Twist of the season is the Have Not special power. Canada votes in 2 Have Nots who will compete to win the power - It's a Coup d'Etat. They MUST replace one of the nominees, but CAN also replace both.

BBCan3 Episode 17 Week 6 Eviction

Brittnee is a bit pissed off because she is on the block for a third time, "I came into this house to play the game, not to be the perfect pawn." Good argument, if she was actually playing the game instead of sitting around and staring off into empty space. Sarah knows. She feels she is carrying the load for Brittnee's game - and she doesn't want it to become too obvious. Sarah tells her, "From now on, we don't talk."

Then there is Sindy. Sindy screwed up her game by coming on too strong, too early, got evicted then given a second ticket in - with a one week immunity. What did she do with that golden opportunity? Instead of laying low she decides to shake up the house AGAIN. Imbecility at it's finest. She openly says she is going after Bobby, and that right there is the problem. Nobody messes with Bruno's right-hand man. Nobody.

No wonder they are both on the block.

BB decides that these guys spend too much time lazing about talking strategy way too much. The same things over and over again. Enough! Time to get these children out of the hot tub and up exercising. Their task is to Flintstone-power a car across Canada in teams of two. This also allows some HGs the opportunity to talk strategy with others they wouldn't necessarily do so with. BB also throws in a couple of obstacles along the way. Kevin and Sarah have to drive through a snowstorm. Willow and Ashleigh are stopped by a policeman (Kevin) for drunk driving. They obviously didn't heed the warning, because they later hit Marsha the Moose. Don't worry. She's fine. Moose are well known for surviving a hit by even a huge truck. Although Godfrey suggests they could cook her up because that's some fine meat there. Zach and Sindy must camp out in sleeping bags when the car conveniently breaks down. By "convenient", I mean that this was a great time for Sindy Withaness to do a little campaigning with Zach, trying to suggest that she is a better choice than Brittnee to keep around. I don't care for the Zach character, but I did feel sorry for him, having to listen to this relentless droning. When he finally rolls over and says, "let me think about it", I think what he really meant was, "shut the hell up, I want to get to sleep now."

Willow is so upset she hit Marsha, then tells us Marsha gave her a bottle of champagne. Wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. That is not what happened. Sarah - a Have Not who is not allowed to have extras, went to the DR and requested it for he date with Willow. BB gave it to her and this started a fury on Twitter and Facebook. Sounds like production is covering up with this explanation, BUT do they really think we didn't notice?

All the production interference in the world couldn't stop Sindy being evicted by unanimous vote. The girl didn't learn anything at all from her first eviction.

The comp for the week 7 HoH is called "Retribution". Its pretty simple. They have to rate - on a scale of 1 to 100, how likely statements about Sindy are. The HG with the largest discrepancy is eliminated, and if there is a tie, Sindy gets to decide the next HoH. Isn't that special. And because this episode ended with a cliffhanger after the first question, we get to see Sindy one more time on Sunday, May 3. Isn't that special?

Oh and one more thing. Week 7 will be a triple eviction week - the first one ever. Round 1 is a normal eviction, while Round 2 calls for 3 nominees and 2 people evicted. So prepare for one side of the house to take a hit this week...a real bad hit. And there is some speculation this week will see that thing in the Have Not Room rise from the floor and come into play. I suspect we will see the feeds down for at least a whole day, maybe Wednesday.

BBCda3 Episode 14 Week 5 Eviction: "Sindy and Bobby in the Vault With a Button"

It's not very often I get emotionally involved, but this was one of those weeks.

First of all, JP makes the dumbest decision ever in offering himself up as a nominee. I want to reach into the TV and shake him repeatedly. Then there is Zach whom I have now come to loathe. He should have refused JP's offer outright. Then he should have done everything he could to orchestrate the house to vote the right way.

Of course this week's biggest pain in the side of the BB house was the return of Sindy Withaness. Her goal is to get rid of Zach, and anyone else who gets in the way. Unfortunately for JP, that means him. But she has to move quickly to get the house to see Zach is the biggest target. She gets to work on 2 fronts: Bruno & Bobby and Sarah & Brittnee. Her advantage is all the information she received from Naeha, Johnny and Graig in sequester. She aligns herself with Brittnee and Sarah. That was no problem. Neither is Bruno. He knows who his biggest threat is. The one holdout is Bobby who refuses to give up on the Chop Shop and his alliance with Zach.

Take the money and run, you dumbasses.
But first, Big Brother has an offer that MAY be hard to refuse. Two HGs must volunteer for a task without knowing what it is. Sindy and Bobby turn out to be the guinea pigs. They are told to go to the Vault. Oh Oh. Nothing good ever happens in there. Inside, they find a 24 hour timer, and two buttons. That's it. No explanation. Nothing. So Sindy and Bobby decide to let the clock tick down. Twenty four hours later, and with only a few minutes left, the others are shown what's going on inside. Arisa offers Sindy and Bobby $10,000 to leave the house...and that money comes out of the $100,000 season 3 winner's pocket. Of course, neither Sindy nor Bobby take it. Bad, bad decision. Do they really think they have any chance of winning? Sindy's days are numbered, and Bobby's best hope of finishing this season is fifth place. Fourth if he's lucky. He's just too big of a physical threat to risk taking to F3. It ain't going to happen dude. You guys should have taken the money.

Bobby is still hung up on his unwavering devotion to Chop Shop and Zach. Bruno sits him down and
There is no Chop Shop, Bobby!!!
uses candies to map out the situation in the house. Chop Shop is an illusion. It's just a theory that died, way before Graig left. Zach is playing everyone in the house. Bobby is still in denial, out in left field in LaLaLand. It takes Brittnee to knock some sense in him by letting him know HE was Zach's target this week. Yep, Bobby... Zach, the guy you have pledged your life in the game to for the last 5 weeks was about to send you packing. And the only thing that saved you was Zach's huge ego and his belief that he and Jp were living on easy street.

Now remember all this time, Zach and Jordan are 100% sure that they have the vote and Godfrey will
JP when the vote is read.
be voted out, probably unanimously or at the worst, 7 to 2 with Bruno and Bobby voting to save Godfrey. In fact, Zach has been so sure of victory this week that he has spent the whole week trying to convince Ashleigh to play hide the weenie with him in his HoH bed. Worst HoH ever in Big Brother Canada history, even supplanting Ika Wong's HoH last year. The kicker being of course that he didn't take his closest ally, JP, off the block WITH THAT VETO HE WON. What an asshole. I mean, REALLY. What an asshole.

Jordan gets evicted 5 to 4.

Of course, the live-feeders saw this coming, and I completely dreaded watching JP get totally blind-sided. It was great for television, but I really did not want to see the kid go through that. Thank God, he took it incredibly well, recognizing the game play and strategizing that had to come into fruition for this move to be carried out. He knew he made a massive mistake and admitted to it on-air. At the very least, he met his pre-show goal to make the jury.

The week 6 HoH Comp is called BBC Film Festival. They are shown fan made films of this season's
Ummn, ahhh, ummn. I don't know, ahhh Sindy????
comps and tasks. If they buzz in with the correct answer, they can pick another HG to eliminate. If they guess incorrectly, they are eliminated. Each film is a slow reveal...with pixels gradually coming together for a complete picture. This one won't be hard to throw at all, right? Nah. Not at all. Well, until Bobby decides he wants to be the first out with the wrong answer and buzzes in as soon as the first film begins. He guesses "V for Veto". Of course, what happens? Yep. He is correct. He actually screwed up the screw up. He's totally flustered, and when asked to name an HG to eliminate, he blurts out Sindy. Thus screwing up the screwed up screw up.

Only Bobby could do this.

Big Brother Canada 3 Week 1 Eviction: Pilar or Risha?

The fans are in control of the first eviction this year. With no Live Feeds until after tonight's show, we have been asked to vote based on first impressions alone. All we have to go by is the one hour premiere episode, brief written bios and videos shot while the houseguests were in sequester.

The houseguests have been in that house since last Thursday, and have already formed friendships, sized up the competition and planted seeds for alliances to form. They think THEY are voting tonight, based on those alliances. When you watch tonight, look for any houseguests who may have anticipated this twist.

Then there are the nominees themselves. Pilar and Risha think they have been campaigning with their fellow houseguests, when in reality they haven't been able to campaign with anyone. Even if they suspected it was "Canada's Vote", playing it up to the camera would have fallen on deaf ears.

So, how did the fans vote?

Pilar is a pretty, young athletic girl. I think her introductory video was badly edited to emphasize her supposed Talla-like qualities. She seemingly laughed for no apparent reason. Other than that, there was practically no further information on her. She was given little airtime in the premiere episode, but what we DID see was nothing like the girl who was promised to us. She seemed quiet and reserved. Sindy with an S said she nominated her because Pilar didn't talk to her. After she was named as the replacement nominee, she went to the group for consolation. There is no doubt that Pilar is a bright, perky and attractive young girl, from a great family and has a lot of supporters. I just have the feeling that we have seen enough young 20-somethings, and the superfans out there recognize this.

Risha came across as mature, with more of a backstory, and with incredible sex appeal. Sure she's a cougar but at least she went in the house with a strategy in mind. She came across exactly like we expected from her bio and video. After the PoV Ceremony, she immediately separated from the group and went up to the bathroom to be alone. Normally this would have been a bad thing to do, but it would have pulled on the heartstrings of many a fan out there. I think the fans want to see more diversity in the houseguests, and will want to see the mix that a middle aged woman with game can add to the cast.

The major thing to consider with the Canada Vote is fan voting influence, and casual fan vs. superfan. Voting influence is the factor that your vote has and depends on the points you have earned on the official site. The casual fan only signed up after the premiere and have earned few points. At best, they have a 2X influence. The superfans signed up as soon as the official site relaunched - well over a week ago and have already reached 5X the influence (maybe more?). Oh, and one more thing...if you think it's just Canada voting, you are sadly mistaken.

There has been a lot of campaigning on social media, mostly Twitter for both Pilar and Risha. The apparent winner of this is the Save Risha camp. By apparent, I have to consider the fact that these numbers and Twitter's "Reach" stats has been seriously skewed by a few ardent fans who have been tweeting relentlessly, and some well known alumni.

My prediction?

I am leaning toward Pilar to be walking out of the door to meet Arisa and be the first guest on Side Show. But who really knows? No Live Feeds really suck.

Leave your thoughts in a comment...come on, don't be shy. I'm nice, really.

Big Brother Canada 2 Recap of Episode 26 Week 9 Live Eviction, Plus Side Show

Sabrina tells Jon, Neda and Heather that she can do damage control in the jury house after Adel gets there. Both Jon and Neda are trying to blame the idea to target Adel on each other.

The houseguests get their punishments for seeing their family and friends. Adel's campaign to stay is to make sure Neda and heather know he is going to turn the jury against them. Make them very bitter because, he says nothing can change a bitter jury member. He picks fights with Sabrina, more of a playful, bickering kind of fight. Sabrina counters everything he throws at her. They give Adel's storyline about turning his life around. So you pretty much know where this is headed.

Neda doesn't know what to do without her belongings. Meanwhile Jon doesn't know how to spend 24 hours by himself in the HoH room. Sabrina talks to Heather like she needs to be told what to do, and Heather doesn't appreciate it. She gives her argument why they should keep her over Adel, and how she would be easy to beat in the F2. Sabrina says the same stuff to Neda. More Adel coverage. He has to stay awake for 36 hours and he has a hard time. He thinks he is losing his mind, and falls asleep with his eyes open.

Adel then tries to campaign to stay with Neda and pulls the "we are both from the middle east and our families have had to struggle" line. Neda doesn't buy the cultural connection argument.

Jon is released from his solitary confinement in the HoH room, and tries to campaign for Adel. He doesn't trust Sabrina. Once again, Neda doesn't buy that argument. Both Jon and Neda know they have reached the point where they must separate and start playing for themselves, not each other.

Meanwhile in the jury house, Arlie and Allison are having a great time. Rachelle shows up to tell them the obvious. They should have kept Arlie. She tells them Adel won HoH and has the tape of the nomination ceremony ... you know, the one with all the pointing. Rachelle gets weepy about it again. The three of them agree that Adel is in trouble after this. They have no idea how right they are.

Time for the pre-taped Live Eviction. Adel is dressed in his official Big Brother onesie, because he knows the value of promotion (now available online on the BB Canada site), while Neda covers hers up with a garbage bag dress she fashioned herself. Adel and Sabrina give their pleas to Neda and Heather. Blah, blah, blah. Adel is evicted by a vote of 2 to 0.  When he leaves, he tells them the truth about that Veto power he had. He comes out on stage with his defiled Canadian flag and everyone yells "Wake up Canada". He is still on Jon's side and is convinced Jon will leave. He then yells "Wake up Newfoundland".

The comp for the next HoH is called  Before or After. They have to say which event occured before or after the other. Heather is out after the first question. Sabrina and Neda are tied. We will have to wait until Sunday's show to find out, but you can check by Standings board HERE if you want to find out.

From Side Show:

Peter and Gary give their rundown on what its like to be in the F4. Sabrina has to convince everyone she is dead weight. Heather has to win the next HoH to survive. To win, the house guests have to convince the others they are the baddest in the house, but then convince the evictees they are the greatest.

Rachel Reilly gets a montage because she is a BB superstar, then comes out on stage to compare boobs with Gary. Apparently she loves this season of BB Canada and really loves Kenny, Heather and Sabrina. Go figure. She likes the Twistos Twists and the tasks they have to do. Like Allison and Jon getting drunk without letting anyone else know. She doesn't like floaters and names Adel as this season's floater. They give her time in the Diary room but they didn't let her meet Marsha. Good thing. I think Marsha would have ripped her a new one.

They let Rachel talk to the house guests, but I really don't know what was said because of all the Sabrina screamings. By screamings, I mean screamings. She sounded like 6 people.

Big Brother Canada 2 Final Standings and Voting History

    Final Comps:
Comp 1: Jon, Neda, Sabrina. Jon wins.
Comp 2: Neda and Sabrina. Neda wins.
Comp 3: Neda and Jon. Jon wins.
Jon eliminates Neda.

Jury Members: Canada, Arlie, Allison, Rachelle, Adel, Heather, Neda

Big Brother Canada 2 Recap of Episode 23 Week 8 Eviction

After the POV Ceremony...

All Sabrina has is Rachelle. Rachelle says she really is trying to campaign, but there is nothing she can do...she's just not that creative, I guess. At least sabrina is trying to make deals. Rachelle would rather just go get a coffee.

Adel talks to the pictures in the backyard. I guess he did learn something from Arlie other than the bad advise on pissing off potential jury members. I am really starting to think that Arlie gave him bad advise on purpose.

Heather and Neda talk about F2. Neda knows that she can't bring Jon to the end. She would loose. Jon is starting to see a change in her behavior.

Update on the Jury House. Or shall we say, Arlie's Nudist Camp. Of course he's naked.

Arisa talks to the HGs gathered in the living room for the vote. Jon mentions that they have to keep up good relationships because you definitely don't want a pissed off evicted HG going to the jury house. They didn't show Adel's reaction to that. But I doubt it would sink in anyways.

Heather confesses to Neda and Jon about being isolated by the others at the beginning of the game. She also tells them they will be her friends for the rest of her life.

Jon gets his wish list from the Easter Egg win. Whiskey, beer, pizza, burgers and cigars. Of
course Neda can't have any so Jon is bummed out. They start drinking and have a hot tub party. A fight soon develops between Adel and Sabrina...he started it. This results in Sabrina wanting to do anything to get Adel out. She tries to strike a deal with Jon and Neda. They throw the next HoH to her, she gets rid of Adel, and after that she doesn't care if they vote her out or not.Jon was drunk when he made that deal, and he and Neda quickly backtracked on that one the next day.

Jury vote. But first a montage of the Gremlin story that we don't really want to see, and I have no comment on.

No surprise. Rachelle is evicted by a vote of 3 to 0. Buh bye. Off to jury. Arlie will have a whole week with Allison and Rachelle before the next one shows up. Better make sure some ground rule include NO PEEING IN THE HOT TUB. There's a pond nearby for that.

The comp for the next HoH is called On the Ropes. It's a Survivor-ish type comp. They have to untangle a rope which is attached to their waists, wound through a thicker rope grid. It's also over very cold water. Only Sabrina, Neda, Heather and Jon compete. The show ends before a new HoH is determined.

Big Brother Canada 2: Week 8 Eviction Day Spoilers (Second Eviction)

So, what's been happening in the BB Canada house this week?

Not much.

Oh, yeah, there was a big fight last night. Everybody was enjoying some booze (except Adel) in the hot tub. The conversation drifted to past events in the house. Adel wanted to know about Sabrina and her big snit with Ika. If, you remember, it was the night before Ika was getting evicted. Sabrina claimed that Ika bashed into her on the stairs, then she followed Ika and Adel out to the hot tub. She wanted to pick a fight with Ika.The two went at it and Sabrina ran to the DR claiming that Ika threatened to kill her and her little dog too. (FYI, she didn't).

Anyway, part of Adel's strategy is to piss off the house guests he believes are headed to the Jury House. He brought this up knowing that Sabrina would go ballistic. Heather told Adel not to go there, not to stir up trouble. He didn't listen, and was encouraged by a now very drunk Jon. Sabrina tried to explain herself with events that only happened in her head. It didn't take long for Adel to sink to the lower level of Hell and go off on Sabrina, telling her that he doesn't care about her, that nobody cares, that she is not worth caring about. You know, the kind of stuff that will purposely make Sabrina go off on a rampage. Lit-tra-lee.

When the dust cleared, Sabrina, Neda and a drunken Jon formed an ill-conceived plan to throw the next HoH competition to Sabrina. (Actually, Sabrina approached Jon about this plan just after the nomination ceremony, but Jon wisely said he would think about it.) She will nominate Adel as the target and Heather as the pawn. She is so pissed off with Adel that she wants to be the one responsible for his eviction. She says she doesn't care if she is evicted the following week. She just wants to outlast Adel. Jon and Neda agreed 1-hundo on it. That was last night. Today, Neda is only about 80% in.Tonight, they have totally reconsidered. It's too risky. Neda and Jon want to win HoH and they want either Heather or Adel out next week. They seem to have agreed on Heather, for now. They both find her "sketchy". Do you know what I find sketchy? This new plan of Neda's. Could it be she maybe has another plan in mind? Is Jon her real target?

On the other hand, Rachelle has done nothing to campaign to stay. She has known she is the target since Adel won HoH, because everybody believes she is such a huge physical threat in an endurance competition. They don't want to risk taking her any further.

You might be asking yourself, what exactly did Rachelle ever win to make people believe this? Well she won that HoH way back in the week that Ika was evicted. The comp itself was suspicious. It was that rope contraption which was attached to a belt worn around the waist - and was "individually calibrated" for tension based on each HG's weight. Individually calibrated... my ass it was. Weight is not a clear indicator of strength to begin with, and Rachelle's rope looked kind of slack when others were struggling to hold their position. If that isn't enough, then you have to consider how many of the others threw that comp. Very few people at that stage of the game, especially the ones that are fans of the show and understand the strategy involved, would want to win HoH. They just don't want blood on their hands. They also don't want to show what they have, strength-wise. They want to save it for the end game. So all things considered, this "Rachelle is a threat in endurance" is complete nonsense.

So it looks like Rachelle is out the door come Thursday. If that changes, I will update this post.

Big Brother Canada 2 Recap of Episode 20 Week 7 Eviction Plus Where Did Neda Go?

So Allison had just pulled that Red Veto out of her butt, turning the entire house upside down. This, just after Arlie's realization that he was getting backdoored. She removed Sabrina from the block, forcing Jon to name Adel as the replacement nominee. Sabrina was stunned, but still not speechless. She asked Allison if it was for Andrew. Let me point out that Sabrina has been riding Allison's ass ever since Andrew was evicted - reminding Allison that Andrew was watching from home and he was judging her. Such a charming woman. Allison quickly corrected Sabrina by explaining she did it for "game."

Everyone wants to know how Allison got this PoV, especially Neda. Allison convinces Neda that she is still on her side, but neda vows to get rid of Allison at the first opportunity she gets.

Arlie intends to maintain his composure. Jon knows that everything that Arlie says for the next few days will be strategy. Adel feels secure thgat he is not going anywhere. The gremlins rejoice...they have dodged a bullet again.

Arlie makes a case with the Gremlins and then Allison, that it would be wise to vote out Adel. In reality, he was correct. The four of them would have the majority in the house. (from the live feeds: for two days, it really looked like Arlie was going to stay). Meanwhile Jon and Neda see the danger if the Gremlins and Allison align with Arlie.

There was a montage of funny moments, including Arlie getting his ass kissed and Rachelle peeing in the hot tub. I was surprised they showed that second one. Shame, shame Rachelle. I mean what were you thinking? The worse part of that was that When Sabrina and Rachelle were done in the hot tub, poor unsuspecting Adel got in it. It's nice to see that they outed the dirty girl.

The Have Nots were given a task - they have one hour to create a restaurant quality dish that will elevate slop. The others are the judge and get a meal cooked by two of the contestants from Top Chef Canada. Neda and Heather win.

Adel talks to Allison about targeting Jon. Neda and Jon talk to Allison (it was a conversation that lasted close to 3 hours) and in the end, they form a four way alliance - Neda, Jon, Allison and Heather. This was after Allison and the Gremlins promised Arlie they would vote to evict Adel. To add more confusion, in the live feeds, Jon and Neda formed a final 5 alliance with Heather, Allison and the Gremlins.

The "live" pre-taped eviction begins. Arlie and Adel give their pleas, but in the end it was Arlie that was evicted by a vote of 5 to 0. When Arlie talks to Arisa, he says that Jon really screwed his game up. He tried honesty to explain his playing both sides and then flipping. Everyone's good-bye messages were heartwarming...except Neda's of course. She explains that Arlie helped her get rid of the big players in the house but now she just doesn't have any more use for him. She comes off as a bitch. Nice edit. Arlie becomes the first member of the Jury.

The comp for the next Head of Household is based on a trunk full of fake documents and heritage artifacts that explain their characters. They have to answer True or False. It comes down to Allison and Neda. The tiebreaker is how many acorns were in the backyard during Nuts to That. Neda is closest without going over. and is the next HoH.

The next Twistos Twist is that Canada will be seventh jury vote. No biggie there if you do the math. There are seven members in the jury, plus the two finalists means 8 HGs. Arlie is the first jury member and there are only 7 HGs left. So this news comes as no surprise. What is news is that next week is another double eviction.

One more surprise. The live feeds returned at the same time as the Side Show revealed that Neda was in the War Room! Not sure how she got there. Was it part of an HoH reward or maybe a Pandora's Box...and is she the one who will also get the special strategy session with Jillian and Emmett? Don't know yet. This could be good for her game OR it can also really screw up her game. Big time.

Big Brother Canada 2 Week 5: Eviction Day Will It Be Andrew or Sabrina?

Despite all our hopes that rising yesterday - that the house will flip and evict Sabrina, it looks like Andrew will be exiting the house tonight.

It was a tough choice. Vote out the nose-picking, back-stabbing, lying bitch Sabrina or the nose-picking, scumbag douche-nozzle Andrew? Hmm. Uh. Ah.

Well, Sabrina's game is done anyway. No one can trust a person who actually believes their own lies. Her closest allies are even holding her at arms length. Sarah had enough of her two weeks ago when Sabrina threw her under the bus during the Paul eviction vote. Sabrina's lap dog, Rachelle has even begun to question the things she has said. Maybe Rachelle isn't quite as naive as we all thought. As it sits now, Sabrina's only value is an ally that someone can easily win against in the finals - with bonus points for patience in putting up with her that long. The problem with Sabrina staying is the possibility that she will make the jury. Another bad scenario - she would poison the minds of each and every other jury member. Not good.

As it sits now, the house is set on voting out Andrew. It's actually the best move. He is the bigger threat physically, and it is better to get rid of him now while they can. They may never get another chance.

I know, I know. How great would it have been to see Sabrina's face after everybody told her she was safe, and then they voted her out? Andrew's eviction will also be very entertaining. Peter Brown stated (on Rob Has a Podcast) that he and Gary are going to blast Andrew for his gameplay and let him know in no uncertain terms just how despised he is by the viewers. You better stay true to your words, Peter.

Big Brother Canada 2 Canada's Nominations: No Big Surprise.

It's pretty well safe to say that judging from the online community, both Sabrina and Andrew will be Canada's nominees for eviction. That was pretty much realized after the first hour or two after the voting was announced on Thursday's show. It's even safe to say that the diehard fans out there knew this instantaneously. The general consensus is that everyone wants the First Five alliance fractured before the season becomes too predictable. Any house guests outside of that alliance who have tried, like Paul or Ika have been voted out. When you combine that with the fact that both Andrew and Sabrina are the most hated (on a personal level) by the fans...then its ding ding ding...we have a winner, folks! There's just been too much nose-picking, crotch scratching and other vile habits.

The fans are chomping at the bit in anticipation. Not just to find out who the nominees are either. They want to watch the live feeds to watch these two turn on each other. For any newbs out there, the live feeds have been down since Saturday morning and will not return until after the show tonight. After Dark was also cancelled for last night. The official reason is that Big Brother wants to keep the reveal a big surprise. They fool no one. They want the ratings. The "Canada as HoH" is sponsored by Twistos and they want the most bang for their buck. So much for the whole idea that Big Brother is a social experiment. I really hope they post the live feeds for yesterday and today after the show.

The next step in getting one of these two evicted is the POV comp. Here's a great scenario for you. Let's go with Andrew and Sabrina on the block. If you go by several unofficial online polls, Kenny and Rachelle are placed  in a distant 3rd and 4th, respectfully. What if Kenny wins POV and takes Andrew off the block? Rachelle would go up as replacement. How will the house vote? Very interesting indeed.

Big Brother Canada 2 Recap of Episode 11 Week 4 Live Eviction

Is Canada about to become the next HoH? That's what Arisa promises at the beginning of the episode. What? Will Canada actually get a chance to send the Wicked Witch of the North back to her home on Whore Island?

After the Veto ceremony and Ika becomes the replacement nominee, she talks to Adel who she has become much closer to. Ika says she is done playing with the small fry in this game (Rachelle, Neda, Heather, Jon and even Sarah), and she's going to talk to Kenny and Andrew. Jon admits in the DR that he knows Sabrina is full of shit. He continues to play her game. Even Heather questions Sabrina's stories. Ika tries to bargain with Kenny offering to do his dirty work. He ponders it, but the chances don't seem hopeful.

Adel, Heather and Ika build a fort in the backyard. Just like Adel did with Paul and Kyle two weeks ago. Is this a thing now? Meanwhile Heather's 10,000 steps a day punishment is proving useful. Very useful. She overhears people talking...she knows things!!!

New challenge. They have to search through balls for clues. They then have to count the balls. Ika wins. But this may not be the best reward for someone in Ika's position. She is offered a choice of giving her and her fellow house guests letters from their loved ones OR $5,000 cash. Knowing her days are numbered, she is certainly not about to give these horrible people any kind of gift. She of course takes the money. She doesn't know she is being watched by the other house guests. In other words, she gets Topaz'd. (remember in season 1 when Topaz became HoH in the double eviction night, and she was thinking out loud, while being shown to her fellow house guests?). Well Ika spills the beans. If anyone didn't know about the First Five Alliance, they do now. She shreds their letters and has a great time doing it. Sarah is the only one that understands why Ika did what she did and she explains it to the others. She says she knows that what Ika said about her was 100% true. So...if Sarah knows that, shouldn't the other house guests also believe that what Ika said about people like Kenny, Andrew and Sabrina are also true. Andrew and Kenny call Ika every name in the book and then some. Shame, shame. Especially Andrew the douchebag.

Time for the eviction vote. No surprise Ika is evicted by a vote of 8 to 1.

HoH reveal time. Production has been playing sound effects for the last few days, mimicking set construction sounds. Excellent!!! Love it. Sabrina is screwed, glued and tattooed. Canada...don't eff it up!!! Just one question...can Canada record goodbye messages for her?

Big Brother Canada 2: Week 4 Live Feeds Updates (Spoilers)

Friday March 21

  • Sabrina is doing all of Rachelle's talking and work for her. They are constantly together - Sabrina is blatantly acting as if it's her HoH.
  • Ika and Neda are very aware that Sabrina is controlling Rachelle
  • Sabrina talked to Andrew, telling him that everyone hates him, and that Allison is on the block. (I think Andrew is starting to realize he has had enough of Sabrina)
Thursday March 20 (after the eviction, HoH comp)
  • Rachelle won HoH comp. It appears she had to pick the Have Nots for the week: Heather, Adel, Arlie and Sabrina
  • Ika cries in bathroom. She keeps saying she wasted her HoH.
  • Sabrina throws Sarah under the bus again to Ika, Rachelle and Neda.
  • Sabrina is the first in Rachelle's ear. She blatantly TELLS Rachelle to nominate Heather and Allison, and backdoor Ika. (Rachelle appears to totally agree)

Big Brother Canada 2 Eviction Day Spoilers for Week 3 ***UPDATED***

Flip. Flop. Flip. Flop.
What started out as a very simple plan by nominating Paul and Heather for eviction has turned into a giant mess for ALL the HGs. After all, Paul and Heather are the two lowest rungs on the ladder. No big moves. It looked to be the easy way out for Ika. But it has turned into the move that has fractured the First 5 alliance and exposed them to the others...all at the same time. Here is the situation as of this morning, as brief as I can make it:

  • Ika has formed an alliance with Adel. Adel convinced Ika to change the target to Heather. Adel exaggerated his special Veto power he won from the Buzzworthy comp, making it seem like he can basically veto a veto.
  • The supposed Girl Alliance want Heather out. The First 5 (Kenny Andrew, Arlie, Sarah and Sabrina) want Paul gone. Sarah and Sabrina are in both alliances (to them the girl alliance is just a cover) and they do not want to expose the First 5 to the girls, therefore they feel they must vote to evict Heather. Sarah and Sabrina keep changing their minds about Heather or Paul.
  • Kenny gets nervous. He comes up with a plan with Sarah - he will blame his vote for Heather on Allison. He talks to Andrew about voting out Heather instead of Paul, but Andrew convinces him to stick with Paul as the target. Kenny tells Sarah the plan is cancelled, they are voting out Paul, but Sarah and Sabrina need to at least split their vote.
  • Ika keeps asking Allison how she is going to vote. Allison keeps putting it off.
  • Last night: Sabrina stayed up late with Ika (not sure if she slept there), presumably to deflect any suspicions Ika might have about Sabrina and Sarah. Arlie is sleeping on the HOH couch with them. It turns into Sabrina covering only HER ass, not Sarah's as well.
  • This morning...the Ika and Sabrina convo gets back to Sarah. Sarah questions Sabrina's intentions. Sabrina claims (lies) that she didn't understand the plan...but Sarah sees through it.
Everyone is on edge this morning. The First 5 alliance is fractured and it appears that they each are seeking their own backup alliances.

As it stands this morning, it would appear that Paul will be evicted tonight. However this is a situation that can change in a heartbeat. I will update if a major shift develops.

Update 12:40 P.M. Allison told Ika she is voting to evict Paul. Kenny talks to Ika in the bathroom. Ika now ponders voting out Paul. Paul comes in, Kenny leaves, and Ika tells him she will be the tie breaker.

Update 1:13 P.M. all HGs except Paul and Adel are gathered in the living room. General conversations. (I always suspect that when this happens, they all just want to make sure that no one goes off in groups for last minute deal making/strategizing). BB announced earlier the "Live" eviction will be taped at approximately 4 P.M., so there is not much time left. BB then calls all the HGs to living room (for eviction rehearsal)

Apparently Paul is evicted by a vote of 6 to 4.

Big Brother Canada 2: Eviction Day Spoilers March 13

POV: Kenny wins
Kyle is out
The Power of Veto competition will conclude on tonight's show. Kenny wins. He will take Neda off the block and Andrew will nominate Kyle as her replacement. Unless Kyle does some heavy duty last-minute bargaining today - which is doubtful, he will be evicted. The vote could be unanimous but I suspect Adel may try to make a statement, making it a 9 to 1 vote.

As for the Final HG, who is supposed to go into the house tonight, it's generally agreed that it's down to being a 2 person race between Allison and Scott.

Big Brother Canada 2 - Week 1 Recap Aired Shows and Live Feeds

HOH Paul
Have Nots Unknown
Nominees for Eviction Anick & Andrew
Power of Veto Andrew - used
Replacement Nominee Ika
Evicted Live Eviction Thursday

Episode 1 Wednesday March 5 (Premiere)

This season's theme is "Can you keep a secret?"

The first notable change is the size of the studio audience...it's huge. Arisa gives her tour of the house. The Have Not room is themed Half Nots and is literally half of everything. Whoopy. The War Room has a strategy table with figurines of each house guest - meant to parallel an actual war room/bunker. You know, like something that Churchill used in WWII.

House guests are introduced in three groups:

Sarah, Sabrina, Kenny, Andrew and Arlie.
Ika, Anick, Jon and Kyle.
Paul, Rachelle,, Heather, Adel and Neda.

Everyone is super excited, especially Arlie the die-hard fan, who hoots and hollers. When Kyle gets in he immediately unbuttons his shirt, sits on the couch and says, "This is a nice pad, man." Of course, this is the steroid-induced village idiot who lives in his Mom's basement, so even a one bedroom bachelor apartment would look good to him. Arisa interrupts the HGs and tells them it's time for the first HOH comp, and to go put on their supplied red and white Canada swim suits. Bikinis for the girls, banana hammocks for the guys, and boxers for Paul. Thank You Big Brother for your sense of aesthetics, not to mention decency..

It's called "Ice Breakers". They must stand on blocks of ice. Much, much nastier than it looks.Even after a few minutes, the pain was shooting up their legs. The blocks had each of their names on it and I couldn't help but notice that the HGs were positioned very strategically. Kyle the meathead was placed between Heather and Neda - he was very happy about that. All of Canada would have known if it wasn't for the ice. A disgustingly massive amount of pizza and wings - compliments of Pizza Pizza, were placed out for the HGs who drop out. The next temptation were 3 coolers with surprises in them for the next 3 to drop out. Heather jumped at it - she won $1000. Ika opens hers, Hah! No prize...she must wear her bathing suit for 48 hours. Then Paul, who encouraged several others to drop out, strikes a bargain with the rest of the HGs still on the ice. If any of them win HOH, the others still on the ice won't be nominated. They think about it. Then he ups the ante. He gets HOH, in exchange for no backdooring any of them. They all agree - why? Because they know Paul will get the heat from it, become a target. The others are super pissed.

First Twistos Twist. The 15th House guest. There are 3 potential House guests who will be sequestered inside the house in a soundproof living area and completely separate from the others. Over the next week, Canada gets to vote for one of them to enter the house. So let me get this straight. The houseguests have been in there for a week already. By the time this 15th HG goes in next Wednesday, one of the first 15 will have been voted out, and two others will be nominated for eviction. I can't see this sitting well with the HGs. The 15th HG will be an immediate target.

LIVE FEEDS Summary:

- Jon and Rachelle are close, Jon is also close with Neda
- Rachelle is flirting heavily with Kenny
- possible nominees for eviction: Andrew and Anick.
- Sabrina is circulating herself throughout the house, making alliances.
- Anick is isolating herself and talking about practicing her pre- eviction speech/plea.
- Ika, Sabrina, Sarah and Neda...possible alliance
- Kenny, Sabrina, Sarah, Andrew and Rachelle...possible alliance
- Kyle and Sabrina: Kyle may think he has an alliance with her
- Kyle, Andrew and Jon have agreed to protect each other
- Andrew wins POV, saves himself.
- replacement nominee appears to be Ika
- the live feeds have been down for the better part of today (Thursday). Looks like they are following the same filming schedule as last year...the so-called 'Live Eviction' is actually pre-recorded a few hours in advance.

Episode 2 Thursday, March 6

People are comparing Paul's reign as HOH to The Godfather. He nominates Andrew and Anick for eviction. He considers Andrew a loose cannon...after he had a bit too much to drink and became loud. Power of Veto Comp Paul, Sabrina, Andrew, Adel, Anick and Kyle compete. Everyone is in Super Hero suits. They must break through 3 barriers using tools, then break through glass. The first to do so wins POV.Anick is pretty much useless...the universe was definitely not on her side. There must have been one of those nasty negative tornadoes hanging around. Andrew whips through it and wins POV. At the POV Ceremony, Andrew takes himself off the block. Paul nominates Ika. Paul has made enemies all around.

Eviction: Anick by a vote of 11 to 0. See what did I tell you? That girl was a shoe in to bug the crap out of everyone in the house. Frankly, I think they knew it too when they cast her.

The 3 nominees for the 15th House Guest are introduced to the audience, supposedly unaware of what Big Brother has in store for them. The remaining House Guests inside the house have no idea about these 3, BUT these nominees can spy on the house!!! Da da da! Thats huge. Then the Big Brother "Secret Service", aka 3 actors in black suits and looking more like Men in Black, blindfold the nominees and escort them to their secret room. It's the War Room. Why were they blindfolded? Well, so that they couldn't see the crappy exterior of the house, which would totally destroy the illusion of it all.

Big Brother Canada Week 10 - Recap of Episode 28, Wednesday May 1, 2013: Bad Math Teacher

Arisa starts the show off by informing us there is no studio audience and everything is Top Secret. Of course it is. Slice stopped airing After Dark and cut the live feeds early Sunday afternoon. Arisa appears on the house's TV screen and the HGs are asked to gather in the living room. For once, Talla doesn't scream. Instead she yells "Oh my God!" Well Talla, let me explain. It's Sunday...the show ends in four days...there are four of you left. Did you think this was just another week and the eviction wasn't until Thursday? Nope. Things are going to start happening quickly.

Talla gets to the living room first and sits on one couch. Emmett, Jillian and Gary are sitting on the other couch. Hmm. Looks like a bit of foreshadowing to me. Arisa says, "House guests...things are about to change. Tonight, someone will be evicted."

But, of course, we have to get caught up with what has been happening in the house. Talla thinks she has a F2 deal with Emmett, along with the F2 she has with Jillian. Gary thinks he has a F2 deal with Emmett. Emmett has a F2 deal with each of the other three. Only Jillian and Gary don't have a F2 agreement - that we know of. Emmett lets it slip to Jillian that Talla has a deal with him. So now Jillian is upset. Emmett is keeping secrets from her. I guess the honeymoon is over Jillian. Give me a break. You are playing for a prize...you're not there to find a husband. Remember Jillian, this is Big Brother, not Bachelor Pad.

The POV comp is called "Safe from Eviction". The HGs have to solve 3 equations on a blackboard, based on events that happened in the house. Each solution is part of the combination to the safe that holds the POV necklace. Sounds simple right? Jillian should have this one in the bag, and of course she tells us math is her subject. Not just that, but because she's a teacher, she's used to using blackboards and stuff. Duh. Well, not as easy as you would think. First of all, the clues to each number were preposterous. These HGs must write everything down in diaries and memorize it all, because there is no way someone would remember these things. But the funniest part was the second equation, 50 - 11. Both Emmett and Jillian misread the minus sign and thought it was addition. Nerves I guess. Then, Jillian - the math teacher, answered 38. Okay. She can't even claim that she threw the comp. No she was trying to win because she wanted to save Talla.

Maybe Jillian should rethink her career choice. When she first hooked up with Emmett, started dry humping him and then let it progress to all out monkey sex, I thought she would have a difficult time holding down a teaching position. Don't be fooled...it might be 2013, but the parents are still going to complain and gossip like it's 1962. But any good union will save her from termination. Now this. She's never going to live this down. She'd be lucky if she doesn't see a giant 50 - 11 = 38 sprawled on the blackboard the next time she walks into a classroom. Anyway, it's Emmett who snaps out of the stupid zone first and wins the over-sized lucite V necklace.

Everyone scrambles for position. Talla talks with Jillian, sounding assured that Emmett will vote out Gary and she will be in the F3. Jillian backs out of the situation. Talla must have known something was up. She only flashed a smile when Jillian looked at her. You know, one of those phoney, kind of awkward smiles? The kind that makes you cringe? Yeah, one of those. Emmett has to warn Talla that he is voting her out because he wants to get her jury vote. She's pissed. She starts packing.

Meanwhile Jillian is getting upset about this. She wonders why Emmett insists on telling Talla, when last week, Emmett wouldn't let her warn Andrew about his eviction. She is starting to think that Emmett is just in this for himself. Holy shit! Here we go again. Jillian...it's a frigging game. To win money and a car and furniture.

But of course there is a possibility this reaction from Jillian could all be producer-driven. It wouldn't be the first time that producers have asked leading questions in the Diary Room confessions just to garner a certain response. Or they could have used some creative editing to set up a dramatic situation. I guess we will see what happens tomorrow night.

Emmett tries to smooth things over with Talla. He gives her a bracelet that Dan Gheesling left. Talla gives Emmett the most gullible look you could possibly imagine, like a lamb on her way to slaughter. Holy crap, I am actually starting to feel sorry for her. Oh well. When the Eviction ceremony comes around, both Talla and Gary give their plea speeches. Talla's actually made sense. Emmett decides not to use the POV, and he chooses to evict Talla. Talla leaves without incident surprisingly enough. Poor girl didn't even get a live studio audience. Just Arisa sitting there. Arisa questions Talla about her talk with Jillian and "playing dumb" about the F3 agreement...as if it was Talla's strategy. Sorry. Not convinced. There is no way I am going to believe her lack of intelligence was just an act.

Arisa ends the episode reminding us that Thursday is the special 2 hour season finale. Yeah I think we know.
