Big Brother Canada 2 HoH Canada Votes for Eviction Nominees...Plus Ika finds out about Kenny

Fans rejoice!

This week we get to nominate the two house guests for eviction. Thank God.

Go to http://bigbrothercanada.slice.ca/ to vote. You don't have to register to vote, but if you have been playing along and racking up points, your vote can be multiplied after leveling up.
My advice is to just straight out vote for the two you want to go up on the block. Don't even consider the back door strategy. Why? The house guests are running scared right now. They are thinking back on everything they have said and done and even wondering how the show has portrayed them. If anyone other than the ones up on the block win veto, there is no way in hell they will use it to save someone else.

(If the POV is used, I have no idea how that will be handled. The official site does not say. I suspect that they will just put up the person with the third highest number of votes)

Here is my other pearl of wisdom...don't be swayed by what you see them do or say today because they are all acting nice-nice right now. Things like looking directly into the camera. Sabrina went into detail that she was only mean to Ika and Adel (nope). Last night, whether true or not, she was sick after eating too much. She and Arlie were up late talking about her strategy and how Canada will love her. Afterwards, Arlie whispered into his mic something about he knows it will be Sabrina and Andrew on the block (because they are so despicable). Rachelle flashed her bra to the camera - saying "wake up Canada". Andrew is upping the showmance with Allison, making it seem legit even though he has said it's fake and will sell her out when the time is right. And get this - he let it be known that he knows one of the producers. Yep. They are all saying how they felt bad for Ika. Sarah thinks that Canada will respect the First Five alliance and what they have done. I don't know how they can be so wrong.

Voting ends tonight at 10 P.M. ET, but we won't find out until the Nomination Ceremony on Sunday night...just like the house guests. I can not wait to see the look on their faces. It's going to be excellent.

In other news...Ika was on Kiss 92.5 this morning and was told that Kenny is gay. Priceless. A must listen. Here's the link: http://www.kiss925.com/2014/03/28/roz-mocha-interview-big-brother-canadas-ika-on-kiss-92-5/

Big Brother Canada 2 - Week 2 Recap

HOH: Andrew
Nominees: Paul and Neda
POV:Kenny
Replacement Nominee: Kyle
Target: Kyle

Live Feeds Updated regularly:

- Live feeds are very irregular... they are 'Hush, Hush' (down) more than up.  However, we do know that Andrew won HOH and nominated Paul as target and Neda as pawn. (Andrew's plan has since changed)
- lots of fighting among the HGs...so much so that the 3 in the War Room believe these people are mean. The fighting became so bad that Big Brother purposely stopped the live feeds and has taken steps to repair the damage. Note: feeds were down for Saturday almost completely. Only the War Room feed was up, and even that feed was short-lived.
- Kyle, Adel and Paul appear to be the troublemakers, because they know they are the targets this week. Paul continues to isolate himself and has accused Andrew of being a racist and a womanizer. He refers to himself as the virus in the house. Meanwhile, Kyle accused Ika of "playing him", after noticing that things said to her in confidence have gotten back to Andrew and Kenny. (I am not sure if that was the start of all the infighting, or if something happened even before that. There have been references to a couple of events since the beginning of the live feeds on Wednesday night) Adel called Sabrina a cow. Kyle and Adel suspect one of them will be backdoored this week and continue to look for ways to "stir the pot". Andrew has said that Kyle has to go.
- The HGs were given a game to play involving 3 tasks and having to work together. (reminds me more of a trust-building group therapy activity)
- The Final 3 are being given turns in the Diary Room to make a plea to Canada for votes. This will probably air tonight (Sunday)
- Adel and Kyle talking. Adel keeps referring to the big disturbance on Saturday. He says he "saw something", then he threw his mic in disgust. He then says "Big Brother changed the house rules because of it". Every time he says this, he is warned by production and/or the live feeds cut to a commercial.
- Kenny won POV and takes Neda off the block. Andrew puts up Kyle, as expected.
- Jon is talking of making a big move and targeting Andrew if he gets HOH.This immediately gets back to Andrew and Kenny via Sabrina (was this a test by Jon?). Sabrina asks if Kenny is pleased she snitched.
- Paul, Adel and Kyle are making the most of their limited time in the house. Hot tub, pool and making a blanket fort. They continue to isolate themselves from the rest of the HGs ...neither Paul nor Kyle are doing anything to try to stay. They have called themselves "The Outsiders" or after spending a lot of time in the hot tub, "Lobsters" (my opinion: I think Paul is continuing to play Adel and Kyle knowing Kyle is the target, making sure he stays that way)
- Jon is injured: he dislocated his shoulder by the pool. He is currently receiving medical treatment.
- Jon is back in the house
- Sarah, Sabrina and Ika fight over a potato chip - Sarah made chips for the Have Nots, Ika ate one
- the First Five alliance discuss taking in Jon and Rachelle, to become the final 7 HGs. The plan would remain the same though: the First 5 are still the final 5, and out of those, Arlie would be the first to go, leaving Andrew, Kenny, Sarah and Sabrina as the final 4.

Recap of Episode 3 Sunday March 9

- Rachelle approaches Kenny about Heather saying Kenny said he doesn't trust Rachelle. Confusing? The only thing we learned here is that Heather is a big snitch. Apparently Kenny fed this to Heather as a test. She thinks she is in with a Kenny/Andrew alliance, when in fact she is sitting on the periphery looking in.

The HOH starts with everyone dressed in the latest farm fashions. The line of the night goes to Kyle when he sees the out-going HOH Paul walk in to host the comp..."Paul comes out dressed as a big cock". The comp is called Fresh From The Farm. For Round one, the HGs are supposedly "randomly paired" in teams of two. Right. One team mate must keep a very large metal bin suspended with a rope, while the other must collect potatoes with their team colour on it. That same person must throw them into an opposing team's basket. The team who keeps their basket up the longest wins. The first two teams eliminated will become the first Have (Half) Nots. Of course the girls are out first. Sarah, Neda, Rachelle and Heather are on slop for the week. It's down to Kenny and Jon vs Andrew and Arlie. Jon gives out. Andrew and Arlie move on to Round Two. They take a short break. Arlie goes in the pantry and pretends to be exhausted. He does not want HOH. In Round Two they must dig through the potatoes and find the golden potato...aka the baking potato in gold foil. Arlie again feigns exhaustion and purposely passes over the gold tater several times. Finally Andrew finds it and claims HOH, of course thinking he found it fair and square. Heather is elated because Andrew ins. One thing is for sure, Heather is dumber than the average blonde. I never knew that was possible.

Andrew shows off his HOH room, and everyone shows their happy face. This is immediately followed by the Have Nots being introduced to slop and potatoes, then their Half Not room. Wah. How will they survive?

The First Five alliance is revealed to us formally. They were the first group who went into the house and decided to ally with each other right off the bat: Andrew, Kenny, Arlie, Sabrina and Sarah. Meanwhile, Paul knows he will be Andrew's biggest target this week, so he tries something with Ika. He says Andrew is a racist, has been tormenting him and actually starts to cry. Ika recognizes bullshit when she sees it.

Time for Andrew to ponder his nominations. He's got a revenge hard on for Paul, but is also considering some of the girls. He is also listening to Kenny's suggestion of booting out Kyle -  the physical threat with rocks rolling around in his head. But in the end, Andrew nominates Paul and Neda. Andrew says he nominated Neda because she is a strong player. Then he exposes Paul for slandering him. In his Diary Room confession, Paul indeed admits to lying, saying Andrew is not a racist. This is the start of the disturbance that lasted all weekend. It got so bad that feeds were down for most of Saturday. On top of that, whenever any HG starts discussing it, they are given a warning and/or the feeds are cut. There is more...much more to come. It will be interesting to see how much makes it to air.

Recap of Episode 4 Wednesday March 12

The show starts with a review of the big snit after the nomination ceremony. In a nutshell, Paul first accused Andrew of being a racist in a convo with Sabrina. He then reinforced it by crying over it with Ika. Ika got back to Andrew about it. That's why Andrew called him out in the nomination ceremony. Paul states in the Diary Room he knows Andrew is not a racist. He just wants to be the Richard Hatch, the bad guy to get him to the final two.

Kyle and Adel think they are now screwed because of their association with Paul. But instead of cutting the guy loose, they only make things much worse. You can read my recap of what really went down HERE

Big Brother makes the HGs go through a series of team building exercises to calm the house down. Before the POV Comp gets under way, Kenny gets Andrew to agree on making Kyle the new target. The plan is now to win POV, take Neda off the block and make Kyle the replacement nominee.Eventually Adel and Kyle clue in to the plan.

The POV players are picked: Paul, Neda, Andrew, Kenny, Sarah and Jon are the players. Arlie is the host. Big Brother informs the players and the host that they will receive a gift...a special screening of the soon to be released movie, Divergent.

The comp is an obstacle course based on the movie they just saw. Jump off a 10 foot wall, crawl, climb up and over a rope wall, jump into freezing water, grab a puzzle piece, then zipline to the puzzle board. They must repeat the course until they get all the puzzle pieces. Paul knows he is screwed. He takes what seems forever to even jump off the first wall (and land on a big cushion). People are getting their second puzzle pieces before he even gets over the ropes.

The episode ends before a winner is determined. Gee, they have a lot to cover tomorrow night. POV winner, POV ceremony, Live Eviction and the Final HG enters the house. I guess they won't have any time to cover the big fight that happened on Saturday. Funny how that happens.

Recap of Episode 4 Thursday March 13

The POV comp continues....Kenny wins. No surprise there. Then there is the gratuitous analysis of whether or not to use the veto. Kenny saves Neda and Andrew nominates Kyle as the replacement. Of course Paul believes his plan to be the villain is working. He also says if he becomes HOH he will seek vengeance.

Kyle makes the most of his remaining time in the house by learning to pray with Adel. He does not do any campaigning or bargaining to save himself. He, Adel and Paul call themselves the Outsiders, and spend most of their time in the backyard or in the hot tub - completely separate from the others.

But the writing was on the wall, and Kyle is evicted by a vote of 9 to 1, with Adel the only dissenter.

New HOH competition,...it's a trivia contest. They must discern between fact or rumour.
Paul out first. Then Neda, Rachelle, Adel, Heather, Jon, then everyone except Ika. She wins. The comp was short and sweet...so I wonder if they suspected something was up - like a twist.

Meanwhile in the War Room...the secret 3 are given a "last supper". This happened yesterday. Arisa gets right to it. Allison won. She can make up any story she wants, but can never reveal the War Room, or that she has been watching them all week. She gets escorted in by the BB Secret Service. They held the HGs in the backyard and let Allison wander around. When they open the gate slowly, the HGs notice her and the reaction was hilarious. Especially from Arlie who gives a little wave to her. She plays dumb...they all run up to her and she says, "You guys are here already?" Kenny says, "We've been here for two weeks". Hopefully, she will be able to keep up the story.

So what are her chances? Pretty darn good. Even if Ika puts her up on the block, the First Five are unlikely to vote for her. Chances are Ika will follow whatever the main alliance wants - which is getting rid of Paul and Adel.

Big Brother Canada 2 - Week 1 Recap Aired Shows and Live Feeds

HOH Paul
Have Nots Unknown
Nominees for Eviction Anick & Andrew
Power of Veto Andrew - used
Replacement Nominee Ika
Evicted Live Eviction Thursday

Episode 1 Wednesday March 5 (Premiere)

This season's theme is "Can you keep a secret?"

The first notable change is the size of the studio audience...it's huge. Arisa gives her tour of the house. The Have Not room is themed Half Nots and is literally half of everything. Whoopy. The War Room has a strategy table with figurines of each house guest - meant to parallel an actual war room/bunker. You know, like something that Churchill used in WWII.

House guests are introduced in three groups:

Sarah, Sabrina, Kenny, Andrew and Arlie.
Ika, Anick, Jon and Kyle.
Paul, Rachelle,, Heather, Adel and Neda.

Everyone is super excited, especially Arlie the die-hard fan, who hoots and hollers. When Kyle gets in he immediately unbuttons his shirt, sits on the couch and says, "This is a nice pad, man." Of course, this is the steroid-induced village idiot who lives in his Mom's basement, so even a one bedroom bachelor apartment would look good to him. Arisa interrupts the HGs and tells them it's time for the first HOH comp, and to go put on their supplied red and white Canada swim suits. Bikinis for the girls, banana hammocks for the guys, and boxers for Paul. Thank You Big Brother for your sense of aesthetics, not to mention decency..

It's called "Ice Breakers". They must stand on blocks of ice. Much, much nastier than it looks.Even after a few minutes, the pain was shooting up their legs. The blocks had each of their names on it and I couldn't help but notice that the HGs were positioned very strategically. Kyle the meathead was placed between Heather and Neda - he was very happy about that. All of Canada would have known if it wasn't for the ice. A disgustingly massive amount of pizza and wings - compliments of Pizza Pizza, were placed out for the HGs who drop out. The next temptation were 3 coolers with surprises in them for the next 3 to drop out. Heather jumped at it - she won $1000. Ika opens hers, Hah! No prize...she must wear her bathing suit for 48 hours. Then Paul, who encouraged several others to drop out, strikes a bargain with the rest of the HGs still on the ice. If any of them win HOH, the others still on the ice won't be nominated. They think about it. Then he ups the ante. He gets HOH, in exchange for no backdooring any of them. They all agree - why? Because they know Paul will get the heat from it, become a target. The others are super pissed.

First Twistos Twist. The 15th House guest. There are 3 potential House guests who will be sequestered inside the house in a soundproof living area and completely separate from the others. Over the next week, Canada gets to vote for one of them to enter the house. So let me get this straight. The houseguests have been in there for a week already. By the time this 15th HG goes in next Wednesday, one of the first 15 will have been voted out, and two others will be nominated for eviction. I can't see this sitting well with the HGs. The 15th HG will be an immediate target.

LIVE FEEDS Summary:

- Jon and Rachelle are close, Jon is also close with Neda
- Rachelle is flirting heavily with Kenny
- possible nominees for eviction: Andrew and Anick.
- Sabrina is circulating herself throughout the house, making alliances.
- Anick is isolating herself and talking about practicing her pre- eviction speech/plea.
- Ika, Sabrina, Sarah and Neda...possible alliance
- Kenny, Sabrina, Sarah, Andrew and Rachelle...possible alliance
- Kyle and Sabrina: Kyle may think he has an alliance with her
- Kyle, Andrew and Jon have agreed to protect each other
- Andrew wins POV, saves himself.
- replacement nominee appears to be Ika
- the live feeds have been down for the better part of today (Thursday). Looks like they are following the same filming schedule as last year...the so-called 'Live Eviction' is actually pre-recorded a few hours in advance.

Episode 2 Thursday, March 6

People are comparing Paul's reign as HOH to The Godfather. He nominates Andrew and Anick for eviction. He considers Andrew a loose cannon...after he had a bit too much to drink and became loud. Power of Veto Comp Paul, Sabrina, Andrew, Adel, Anick and Kyle compete. Everyone is in Super Hero suits. They must break through 3 barriers using tools, then break through glass. The first to do so wins POV.Anick is pretty much useless...the universe was definitely not on her side. There must have been one of those nasty negative tornadoes hanging around. Andrew whips through it and wins POV. At the POV Ceremony, Andrew takes himself off the block. Paul nominates Ika. Paul has made enemies all around.

Eviction: Anick by a vote of 11 to 0. See what did I tell you? That girl was a shoe in to bug the crap out of everyone in the house. Frankly, I think they knew it too when they cast her.

The 3 nominees for the 15th House Guest are introduced to the audience, supposedly unaware of what Big Brother has in store for them. The remaining House Guests inside the house have no idea about these 3, BUT these nominees can spy on the house!!! Da da da! Thats huge. Then the Big Brother "Secret Service", aka 3 actors in black suits and looking more like Men in Black, blindfold the nominees and escort them to their secret room. It's the War Room. Why were they blindfolded? Well, so that they couldn't see the crappy exterior of the house, which would totally destroy the illusion of it all.

Finale Week Spoilers

Yes, this is the final week of Big Brother Canada - the finale will air next Thursday, May 2! Big Brother After Dark will no longer air, and the live feeds will be cut on Sunday. However, here are a few spoilers of what went down before the feeds went out:
  • Jillian won HOH...for the fourth time.
  • Talla and Gary were nominated for eviction.
  • Emmett won POV and will be the only one who votes in the eviction.
  • Talla appears to be the target for Emmett.
  • Talla is convinced Jillian and Emmett are taking her to the F3 and that it is Gary who will be eliminated. In the feeds, she was taking to the "dark" moose named Marge. She calls it "Henry", probably because they have never been introduced. Talla confided in Henry/Marge that Emmett eliminated Peter and Andrew for her, and she sees no reason that he won't eliminate Gary for her as well.  Let's just say Talla is delusional. Peter was right when he described Talla as not knowing what game she is playing.
So let's look at the F3...and who would win against whom:

Jillian: It's just like Dan Gheesling said. Jillian is playing for 2nd place. Unless she pulls out some monumental speech at the end which can sway the jury, she has no chance of winning. The jury will vote emotionally and against her because she burned each of them. I hope she is in the F2 because I can't wait for the jury questions, especially from Peter, Topaz and Andrew. And the rest of them for that matter. I also can't wait for Peter to tell her "I told you so" - he reserved that right with her.

Gary: He is certainly the emotional favorite, well loved by Canada and the jury. He would win in an F2 against Jillian, even though he is a "returning player" voted back into the game. He managed to do the impossible - survive eviction and drive a wedge into the East Coast Alliance, getting Jillian and Emmett to evict Andrew. If pitted against Emmett in an F2, it may be close but he would lose.

Emmett: Unless Emmett gets completely blindsided getting into the F2, he's got this in the bag. Or unless he does something stupid and concedes it to Jillian. That is doubtful, he's no fool for love. He told Dan Gheesling he already had a plea speech prepped if he's pitted against Jillian. I want to hear that speech. My best guess is that he had Jillian wrapped around his finger. He let her win the HOHs because he didn't need to win them. He never lied to anyone and he was up front with them.

Big Brother Canada Current Status

Final Standings:

Winner: Jillian

Final Two:

Gary Levy (previously evicted Week 6, returned Week 8)
21 years old from Toronto, Ont
Bartender/Artist/Fashion Stylist Assistant
His plan is to be social and friendly, all while gathering information on his fellow houseguests. What...is he going to blackmail them? Nah, I don't think so. I've never met a bartender/artist/fashion stylist assistant I didn't like.

Jillian MacLaughlin
27 years old from Glasgow, N.S.
Elementary Teacher
This one's only plans are to make friends and plan as she goes. That's so high-school. Oh, right, she's a teacher. How is it she's able to do the show?

EVICTED HOUSE GUESTS

Emmett Blois EVICTED Jury Member
24 years old from Gore, Hants Co., N.S.
Dairy Farmer
Umm, a dairy farmer named Emmett? Well, slap me on the head and call me a turnip...will wonders never cease? Oh and here's a good one: he likes to flirt and he's "good at it". Maybe he thinks he's the next Bachelor Canada. And...he likes girls who play hard to get. Oh I bet he does. Mooo.

Talla Rejaei EVICTED Week 10 Jury Member

26 years old from Edmonton, AB
Independent Living Support Worker/Social Work Student
She plans on keeping a low profile because she is a "loud person who stands out". That's her strategy....to be the exact opposite of herself. Then she says that "strategies don't work". Wait, I'm confused.

Andrew Monaghan EVICTED Week 9 Jury Member
38 years old from Halifax, N.S.
Insurance Sales Trainer
He says he has no strategy - but he'll play a good social game. Social game? Exactly what kind of social game are you planning, Andrew? Kind of hard to do when you're the oldest guy in the house. He better get used to the young-ens calling him "Grandpa".

Peter Brown EVICTED Week 8 Jury Member
26 years old from Surrey, B.C.
Web Content Curator
He plans to be nice to people because "they're really not people, they're characters." Hmm. I think he's been working a little too much by himself in front of the computer. Yep. This isn't an RPG Pete! Or maybe he believes in the Holographic Universe Theory. Can he see the matrix?

Emerald "Topaz" Brady EVICTED Week 7 (2nd in D.E.) Jury Member
27 years old from Scarborough, Ont
"Part-time" Dental Hygienist/"Full-time" Student
She is going to assess others, and then go from there. I think she may be the one who needs to be "assessed"... seems she doesn't know if she's an emerald or a topaz, Dental Hygienist or a student. Is everyone in for a ride on the split personality roller coaster?

Alec Beall EVICTED Week 7 (1st in D.E.) Jury Member
26 years old from Vancouver, B.C.
Social Psychological Research/Doctoral Student
Since he's a brown-noser, he's hoping to find a "dumb person" to form an alliance with. That's what he said, really. He'll have to lie and tell everyone he works at Walmart, otherwise he'll be out quick.

Anuj "AJ" Burman EVICTED Week 6 (Instant Eviction) Jury Member
32 years old from Scarborough, Ont
Director of Business Development
He says he's a talker and he can sell anybody anything, but he'll try not to annoy the other House guests. Who wants to start a betting pool with me on that one?

Suzette Amaya EVICTED Week 5
26 years old from East Vancouver, B.C.
Support Worker/Radio Producer and Host/Motivational Speaker
Wait...what? Why is it that half of these people have multiple job descriptors? Got to wonder if maybe there's some exaggeration going on here. Hey two can play this game. My official title is now Business Administrator/Accounting Supervisor/Artist/Tax Consultant/Nutritionist/Domestic Engineer/Landscaper/Teacher/Blogger. Sadly, I could go on. Well, at least she's going to put some of those skills to good use. She's planning to "do a lot of manipulating, stroking of egos, and riding of coattails." Sounds just about right for a motivational speaker. Oh and she says she's "the ultimate floater". Euuw.

Liza Stinton Evicted Week 4 (2nd in double eviction)
29 years old from Toronto, Ont
Tanning Salon Owner
She's just going to "shut up and listen". Is that what she says to her clientele?

Thomas Plant Evicted Week 4 (1st in double eviction)
24 years old from Edmonton, AB
Bartender/Firefighter
Here's another one of those multi-job people. And another bartender. And another party animal. Hey, maybe he can hook up with Danielle. And another one who says that basically they have no strategy and they are just going to wing it. Great.

Aneal Joshua Ramkissoon EVICTED Week 3
21 years old from Richmond Hill, Ont
Communications Major
He says he'll try to come across as young and naive. Oh, I don't know if that will work...after all he's 21 years old. Sounds like he's really putting those communication skills to work...money well spent on tuition. Oh and by the way, the topic of his thesis, he says, is....Big Brother.

Danielle Alexander EVICTED Week 2
20 years old from Calgary, AB (originally Ft. MacMurray, AB)
Student/Aspiring Actress
She is a party animal who expects to get her own way, even if she needs to be a bitch. Oh, I have no doubt about that. Why do I feel like she's going to be the season's drama queen? Hold on everybody...here we go!

Kat Yee  EVICTED Week 1
27 years old from Toronto, Ont
Bartender
"I'm going to lay low...keep the target off my back...downplay my physical abilities....just be a fly on the wall". I wonder where she tends bar at? The Don Jail?

Big Brother Canada Recap of Week 6

Spoilers from Live Feeds

  • Andrew won POV and did not use it.
  • Gary was evicted unanimously
Recap of Episode 15 - Sunday March 31, 2013

Tonight's episode was all about the Chevrolet Power Shift Instant Eviction and the ensuing ramifications in the house. Just another producer-driven method of creating drama and exposing alliances - and they even managed to have it sponsored by Chevrolet.

We start off with Arisa in the intro giving us a glimpse literally behind the scenes of the house -  to remind us that this really is a stage set. It was quite interesting to see, because I have to say that the house was very nicely done. Anyway, the new HOH, Topaz, is called to the HOH room - a request that leaves everyone dumbfounded. Once she is there, all the other HGs are told to gather in the living room. Peter seems to be the only one who suspects something big is about to go down, and he's keeping his mouth shut. Topaz is told that this is an instant nomination and she has 5 minutes to nominate two HGs. So what does she do? She considers her options...by talking to herself:

...Talla - everyone wants her out.
...AJ - to be a pawn again
...Andrew - as the target, but if he wins veto, a stronger player can be substituted.

Oh wonderful....because the TV came on in the living room when Topaz went into the HOH room. At first the HGs thought it was by accident, then they all shut up when it dawned on them what was going down. Gary goes into a lockdown mode, probably afraid that Topaz will say something about their alliance or her fauxmance with Alec. Talla starts to go ballistic, but Peter gives her a "shush". Not just for her benefit. Peter is weighing the opportunities in his head...I swear he is always thinking 5 moves ahead of the game.

Topaz nominates AJ and Andrew. Then Arisa lets her know the others watched and listened to her the whole time. She must feel like crap. And just as she thought things couldn't get worse...things get worse. Arisa announces it is also an Instant Eviction. Topaz probably believes that both her alliances will side with her and vote Andrew out. Wrong. Only Gary and Talla vote for Andrew. Alec votes for AJ, wondering how he will get himself out of this one. It's 4 to 2 for AJ, and poor AJ gets booted. Gotta say, AJ took it very well in his exit interview with Arisa. We will miss his comic relief. But AJ is the first member of the jury, and revenge is a dish that is best served cold.

Meanwhile, Topaz is screwed. She tries to recover by saying she doesn't remember what she said. Plus, she still doesn't know if they heard everything or not. Peter pulls Emmett aside and they talk in whispers. He explains how screwed Topaz is. What a dummy for talking out loud to herself and not recognizing how strange the situation was this is Big Brother, after all and nothing is ever that innocent. She is out of power now plus she has alienated Andrew and Talla. Peter is in Big Brother Heaven and loving every minute of it.

Topaz runs to Alec about his vote - why he didn't vote for Andrew after overhearing who her target was. Alec plays dumb. Topaz plays dumb. Then they accuse each other of a lack of trust for what's best for their faux-mance. Alec heads off to play the jilted lover. It's become a sympathy grab, and he's trying to make Topaz out to be the bad guy in it. Andrew goes to talk to him and he is buying the act. How convenient for Alec. Andrew now believes that he has Alec's support because of the vote - that Alec stuck his neck out on that one just to save him.

Topaz's reign as HOH was short - no luxuries or theme room. It's time to move on.  The HOH Competition is called "Diary Room Confessions". It's just as it's name suggests. The HGs have to guess which eliminated HG said what in their DR confession. It comes down to a tie breaker between Andrew and Talla. This is twice in a row where Talla gets to the end in these quizes. Is she maybe not as dumb as she's been acting? Nah.They had to guess, without going over, the number of yellow balls used as pollen in the Bees Knees competition. Andrew is afraid that Talla might do the Price-Is-Right-Underbid, and guess 4. So he puts in a good bid, and wins it. Looks like he'll be getting some revenge on Topaz.

But wait a second. Along with his win, he has to name four HGs as this week's Have-Nots. Choose wisely, Andrew. He starts. Umm....Emmett. That's one. Peter pipes in. He points to Topaz and says, "What about her?" Topaz is two. Then Gary is three, just because he hasn't been on slop yet. Peter volunteers as the forth. This is when Gary goes ballistic.

And that's an understatement. He starts whimpering. He starts pouting. We hear stuff like "Have you seen my size?" and "How am I supposed to do it" and something about "fading away". This is still at the HOH comp set. We get the commentary from Emmett. It's the best one-liner of the night...someone has to fill AJ's shoes. Emmett says, "He (Gary) starts bawling like we're in a grocery store and he can't have Froot Loops!!!". Yet, it was so true. Gary runs inside, locks himself in the bathroom stall, screams and cries. He's unconsolable. Several HGs run to comfort him. "I just don't know how to do it with my body type". I think it was Emmett who says, "Well, you always say you want to lose some weight, so now's your chance". Gary cries, "Now you're calling me fat!!!". Oh dear God. He throws himself down on the floor and now he's wailing. And wailing. And wailing. And although I know that the sound techs kind of amplified the wails, I am still kind of looking at the screen and left asking myself, "were we just treated to an on-air audition for The Birdcage?"

Andrew shows off his HOH room. Vampire themed. Letter from his twin brother. All boring. But it isn't long before Gary is knocking at the door for a little conversation concerning Andrew's choices for nomination. Of course, it will be Topaz, because she had the balls to target him in that B.S. of an Instant Eviction fiasco. Of course she's the target. Then he tells Gary he will be the pawn, so that he will save himself and not Topaz with a POV. He then goes on to say if he or Gary should win POV, Gary would be saved and the real target with be put up - someone with power. Gary is confused. Wasn't Topaz the target? Andrew is flip-flopping on this. Gary says he expected more from Andrew. He expected Andrew to be stronger and really shake things up. Oh. But wait...

Yeah here it is. Andrew. In the Diary room. Psst...the real target? Gary.

Recap of Episode 16 Wednesday, April 3 2013

With only 8 HGs remaining, nerves are tender and tempers are flaring. Just what you would expect by trapping people inside a house for over a month and having their every move recorded. Something's got to break somewhere.

With the Quatro now history, Emmett realizes he must ally with more than just Jillian. He needs numbers to fight off The Shield. Andrew is happy to oblige. Together they dream up the "East Coast Final 3". But they still need at least one more. Hmmn. Who can they get to help them? Perhaps if they start to show Talla they will protect her, they can have her. Meanwhile Peter is thinking the same thing. He is pretty sure that Talla is in the "pocket of the Shield". So it looks like Talla will be a key player in the next couple of weeks.

Andrew reflects on the loss of his bestie, AJ. He is out for revenge. He's so lonely without AJ that he has dinner with his picture. Talla notices, so Andrew points the picture toward her and says, "He's not listening, he's looking at your boobs".

The Power of Veto Comp is called "Build a Demon". The players are Andrew, Gary, Topaz, Alec, Peter and Talla. Jillian is the host - she's dressed a la tramp-vamp. Of course the comp is inspired by The Evil Dead, which just happens to be premiering this Friday. The players are blindfolded and tethered to a rope. They must search for body parts in a mucky pit of despair and then build a demon. Not as simple as it sounds, especially when the ropes get tangled. As Jillian yells out the play-by-play, she reflects on the competition being just like teaching - except for her slutty clothes and the body parts. What a great teacher she must be. Although Gary gives it a good try, it's Andrew who wins the large lucite V necklace. Now he's stoked. He's very happy because everyone is kissing his ass. Now he's a physical threat and a mental threat. He's just a threat, and I am sure everyone has noticed.

Along with winning the POV, Andrew wins a special advance screening of The Evil Dead and chooses Jillian and Talla to watch it with him. Talla spends the entire time screaming her ass off. So annoying. She needed a good bitch-slapping.

Once again, we hear Emmett and Andrew reflecting on this East Coast alliance. They consider Talla. Emmett thinks they can win her over if they show her they can provide protection. Right on cue, and very conveniently, we see Gary really going off on poor Talla. And of course Emmett steps in to comfort her.

More drama. Talla is still scared from the movie. Give me a break. Anyway, Alec decides to scare her by grabbing her leg. This makes Talla want to sllep with someone, even though she is in a room full of people. Makes perfect sense. So she jumps in bed with Alec. Makes perfect sense. And who walks in and sees this? Why Topaz of course. And even though Topaz claims to be over Alec, she goes off on Talla. Oh but don't worry, they patch things up. At least they pretend to.

The POV ceremony is no big surprise...Andrew does not use it. Topaz hopes for a miracle to keep both her and Gary in the house. Something tells me there will be no last minute reprieve.

Recap of Episode 17 - Thursday April 4 2013: All That Glitters

Looks like Talla is the centre of the Big Brother universe. All the HGs seem to revolve around her. Alliances will depend on it. So what does little Miss Popularity do under all this pressure? Why she gets herself wasted. Yeah there was another reward from Canada that involves booze. Have you ever noticed that when booze comes into the house, Talla is on it right away. This was perhaps the worst yet. She was all over Topaz...with kisses and even a lapdance. Holy crap. Then she tries to get in the hot tub, she falls in...right onto Andrew. Then she peed on him. Lovely. And didn't Emmett say just last night that he was going to make Talla feel protected in order to gain trust in an alliance? Well move over big guy, cos this time it's Peter to the rescue. perhaps you should have been paying attention Emmett. Anyway, Peter carried her first to the bathroom and then to the bedroom...fully aware of the advantages to helping her.

But wait a minute, there will soon be another free agent in the house. I hate to say it, but Gary is pretty much a goner. I wouldn't be overlooking Topaz just yet. This whole East Coast thing is by no means a Final Three. Got to remember that Andrew put up Topaz to avenge AJ. Now Topaz may be looking for a little revenge of her own when Gary is evicted. Alec sees this opportunity to make amends with Topaz. And it seems to work. For now. And everyone seems to agree the next HOH comp will be the most important one yet.

Ah....Family Time. We get to hear from Alec and Peter's Moms. Yeah they're great guys. And smart. And funny. Then there is the families of Emmett and Jillian. How sweet. Both families are practically doing up the guest list and planning menus for the wedding. Boring.

Unfortunately the eviction went down just as planned, and Gary was evicted 5-0. The big surprise was that he took it so well. I was kind of expecting another melt down. He protested being put on slop more than getting the boot. The best part was when he exited the house to the overwhelming cheers from the audience. Arisa told him that everyone feels like they know him...and his alter egos. We will miss you Gary Glitter!!! But I would love to know what advice he gave to Topaz....what side she should ally herself with.

The HOH Comp is called Iceberg Alley. it's an endurance challenge. They are standing on a ledge with just a handrail to stabilize themselves. Emmett of course opted out of wearing a shirt. Bad move. There is a pool of what looks like cold water in front of them. The iceberg jerks and Talla screams. Of course. Is it just me or are her screams really annoying. I am getting kind of tired of that whole act. Then cold rain and wind starts up to add a bit of difficulty to the challenge, and make Talla scream some more. But this won't end tonight, and we will have to wait until Sunday to see who wins. I will post any info derived from the live feeds if and when they come back up. Oh and one more thing...next week is another double eviction. So hold on it may be a bumpy ride.

Big Brother Canada Recap: Week 3

Recap from Live feeds during the week (spoilers):

  • HOH Tom has nominated Gary and Suzette, with no backdoor eviction planned - he is afraid Gary would win the POV again and save Suzette with it. This way, at least one of them would be evicted.
  • Gary and Topaz have made their alliance official. It's the Secret Wedding. Oh oh...looks like this might mean trouble for The Quatro - seems like they are already questioning Tom's allegiance.
  • Someone messes with one of the cameras...Big Bro is NOT HAPPY at all, and he is taking it out on everyone. He is making them do extra challenges, even waking them in their sleep. The HGs are going to get a little grumpy.
  • Have-Not Competition: the losers this week are Aneal, Jillian, Topaz and Alec.
  • Jillian, who should be sleeping in the have-nots bedroom only, was caught sleeping in the main bedroom with Emmett. This showmance is getting out of control, which makes you think it was Emmett and Jillian that messed with one of the cameras. The other HGs are getting annoyed at this. Is this another threat to The Quattro?
  • Tom has been considering keeping Gary around another week. He has been asking others if they would save Gary if they win the POV. He is considering AJ or Andrew as replacement nominees.
  • Power of Veto Ceremony: Tom uses POV to save Gary. He names AJ as the replacement nominee.

Recap of Episode 6: Sunday, March 10, 2013

As soon as Tom wins HOH, Suzette heads to the storage room and has a meltdown in front of Topaz, Alec, Aneal and Gary - in the words of Peter, she steals Tom's thunder. I guess she didn't have enough of her own. She accuses Aneal of being a backstabber, then he points out that she voted for him at the last eviction. Suzette and Gary know they will be put on the chopping block this week. At this point Tom wants the vote to be tied so he gets to pick Gary for eviction. But...

Topaz gets involved. First she talks to Alec, of course, about saving Gary. He tells her not to fall on a sword for anyone. Hmmm. Then she goes to HOH Tom and tells him Suzette is actually the bigger threat, because she will come after him. Tom says he will talk to Gary, presumably to strike a deal.

Have/Have-Not Competition. The HGs are divided into 3 teams of 4. One Team member must wear a giant basket around their waist, and catch large nerf apples shot by slingshot. Gary, Emmett, Andrew and AJ win...thanks to Gary's blue glitter. Maybe I will do to Dollarama and get some blue glitter. Aneal, Jillian, Topaz and Alec in the green team lose, but this week they are allowed to have Beaver Tails and poutine along with their slop. What will Jillian and Emmett do now that they can't sleep in the same rooms? Interesting.

Someone tampered with one of the cameras and Big Bro is upset. He punishes all the HGs by putting them through a challenge every so often. This goes on all night - among the challenges: forming a human pyramid; everyone cramming into the 2 shower stalls; brushing each others' teeth; jumping jacks/jumping in the pool; dance marathon; and forming a chain of kitchen stuff arranged from smallest to largest. Pete in the Diary Room said he had fun doing it and even more fun watching everyone being miserable. Did he do it? Or was it Jillian and Emmett who messed with a camera so the could have wild monkey sex in a corner somewhere?

Gary and Topaz sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. No, of course not. Gary and Topaz laying in the hammock...I won't try for a rhyming word. Topaz tells Gary to go to Tom and have a talk...offer to save him in exchange for doing Tom's dirty work. Then they make their alliance official and name it the Secret Wedding. Sure enough Gary goes to Tom. Sure enough they strike a deal. Tom will put Gary on the block but he is after Suzette.

Eviction Nominations: Gary and Suzette. But watch out, the rest of the week will be a rough ride for Tom. There's a twist: Canada gets to vote on a second POV on Thursday Night.

Recap of Episode 7: Wednesday March 13, 2013

Tom has turned into a megalomaniac it seems. A regular Dr. Evil. And nobody likes it. Suzette's only mission at this point is to let all of Canada see what kind of asshole he is. His own alliance (The Quatro) is turning against him.

Oh and what do we have here? It's Pete and Liza holding hands on the couch. But just for a sec...too dangerous if anyone sees. They each think the other is the most interesting person in the universe. But I love Pete's DR confession. Most of his time in the house is spent separating authentic from the inauthentic. The problem is "the inauthentic is turning me on". Wow. That either means he's loving the back-stabbbing strategy or he is enjoying the ass-kissing from Liza. Probably both. They both agree to start playing dirty soon. Not with each other (well maybe that too) but against other people. Pete enjoys seeing the others squirm. I can't wait. Please Pete...don't get distracted with Liza....stay on target!!!

The red phone rings and Andrew answers. His challenge is to make the most foul-tasting meal he can but get just one person to compliment him on it. Gary says, "The meal was gross! It was gross, gross, gross! <BURP> I mean even my burps smell so disgusting that I want to vom!" But...Tom likes it...really. What is this guy used to eating? Hamburger Helper? Taco Bell? Big Macs? Everyone gets a reward of pizza and beer. We learn that when Talla gets drunk, she turns into a stripper. Tonight she gives a lapdance to Aneal. Then she apologizes to her Mom. Is this now some kind of trend? Get plastered on national TV then apologize to your Mom? Welcome to the "Sorry Mom Club" Talla. You are the newest member. Meet Ashley Palenkas from The Bachelor - Sean Lowe.

Gary tells us he has an alter ego which emerges just before challenges. His name is Gerald. Gerald is one of those guys who are all athletic and likes girls. gerald has a girlfriend called Lisa...not Liza.  Gerald is one of those guys who wears baseball caps and says "I gotta take a piss"....or opens the fridge and asks "where's the fucking tomatoes?". I hope Gerald never finds out that Gary puts blue glitter war paint on him....because I think Gerald might just be the kind of guy who would beat the crap out of Gary for it.

The POV Challenge is called "Puck Off" - the players have to answer trivia questions for a chance at a slapshot to break pics of the other players and knock them out of the competition. Tom draws Topaz; Gary draws Aneal and Suzette draws Liza. Here's how it went down:

Aneal aims at Suzette but takes out Gary.
Topaz takes out Liza.
Suzette aims at Tom but takes out...herself.
Tom takes out Topaz.
Tom takes out Aneal.

Suzette turns to Tom and says "you got your wish, you fucking redneck". Nice. Mind you, she claims to be a radio host and a motivational speaker. Now, it seems to me that those jobs require some mad skills...but sorry Suzette, you just don't cut it. What kind of freaks are you inspiring with those skills? Has anyone actually paid you for those skills? I mean like real money, and not just trading babysitting time for it? Honey, you're still young...go back to school. Oh and can I just say one more thing? Don't act like that when you have young kids, because it will get back to them one way or another. Always.

Later, after she has had time to motivate herself, Suzette decides to apologize to everyone...and then Tom. Everyone clears the room. She apologizes to him but its too little too late. Plus it's not going to work on Tom aka Dr. Evil. He already thinks he's won the game. Little does he know...

Alec and Pete (The Shield) are already considering backdooring Tom next week...or as soon as they can. They don't trust him. Alec is afraid of Liza finding out, but Pete tells him, "I have her". (Don't worry any of you Pete/Liza - lets call them Piza for now - supporters out there. Pete told Liza).

Tom convinces AJ to be a pawn replacement for Gary. AJ agrees to it...he says "AJ's the safest pawn in BB history". Oh Oh. That can't be good. And what's up with AJ referring to himself in the 3rd person in the diary room confessions? Wow.

POV Ceremony: Well at least Tom puts his money where his mouth is. He saves Gary, and puts up AJ. He doesn't suspect a thing. He doesn't know of the big twist...Canada is voting on their own POV tonight. It's called the "Chevrolet Power Shift". Will they save Suzette or AJ? Sorry I don't know if that means the other is instantly eliminated or if there will be another replacement. The link to vote is HERE

Recap of Episode 8: Thursday March 14, 2013 - "Live" Eviction

So who did Canada vote to save? If only Tom knew about this "massive twist", he could have just left Gary up, because for sure he would have been saved. And what's going to happen after that? Who will Tom put up as replacement number 2 this week...

We start off with Liza explaining her strategy...it's to be close with ALL the boys. Excellent. Smart. Or is it? Tom starts to notice Liza spending time with Andrew. This turns Tom, aka Dr. Evil, into a raging ball-sack of testosterone. Looks like Andrew is now number one on Tom's hit list. This tips Alec and Emmett off again that Tom is thinking too much with his lower head...he's a puppet and Liza is controlling the strings. This in turn gets Peter on the defensive and he runs to Liza to tip her off that her name is being mentioned for eviction.

Meanwhile, AJ is talking to Tom. AJ says he's not even a pawn. Tom says he's a seat-filler for the eviction vote. But with absolutely no strategy or gameplay, perhaps AJ is just a seat-filler, period.

Okay, here we go. The HGs are all gathered in the living room and Arisa breaks the news to them. "Houseguests....there is a massive twist...thousands and thousands of Canadians voted...they voted to save...Suzette. Shit. And Tom is visibly fuming. He's really pissed. Now he has to put up another HG as replacement, and he only has the time during the commercial break. He runs to the storage room with Emmett. Andrew? Tom's jealousy might be in control. But wait for it...he names Aneal. Poor Aneal. Despite being a superfan, Aneal just hasn't managed to stay out of trouble. This time, however, the HGs vote to evict Aneal 8 to 2. Only Jillian and Liza vote for AJ.

HOH Competition is called "The Bees Knees". They have to go from flower to flower and collect pollen...yellow, red and blue balls in pockets on their legs. Oh yeah, did I mention they are all wearing very large bumble bee costumes? Yeah, even Suzette. But its Emmett that takes the win and is the new HOH for week 4.

Next week, a new massive twist...double eviction. Suzette's days are numbered for sure. But will Emmett have enough balls to back-door Liza? I will post spoilers from the live feeds as they become available.

Big Brother Canada Recap of Week 2

Episode 3: Sunday, March 3, 2013 - "Slop is Not Fun"

The HOH competition proves that yoga is an endurance sport. Apparently Jillian does yoga and it has paid off for her...she has "strong legs". At the end, its between her and Talla. Talla asks Jillian if she would be her target, and Jillian tells her she is safe and that "I never go back on my word". We'll see how long Jillian can keep up such high morals. Talla eliminates herself and Jillian wins HOH.

The first have-not competition, called "Batter Up", begins with Jillian dressed as a big fried egg. Pretty. The HGs divide up into groups of 4 with Suzette sitting it out. Thank God. They have to fill a giant waffle iron with batter. Do they use giant ladles? Oh no...they have to jump into a giant vat of batter and their teammates have to scrape the batter onto the griddle. I think everyone was thankful Suzette wasn't playing. Hey, maybe they thought any team with her on it would have an unfair advantage. The green team loses - Alec, Tom, Talla and Peter get to eat slop for a week and stay in the seedy motel themed Have-Not Room. Peter calls the room "magical", sarcastically of course. Talla says slop is "not fun". Thank you Miss Obvious.

Everyone starts campaigning their own strategy with Jillian about who to nominate. The major play is by Aneal - he tries to plant mistrust of Tom in Jillian's head. He tells her Tom is in a secret guy's alliance with Emmett, Peter and Alec, and that each of them "have a girl attached to them", so that they will have a majority vote. Her interest is peaked, but the guys get to her and turn the tables on Aneal. Jillian ends up nominating Gary and Aneal. She explains: Gary, because he is a very strong, social player; and Aneal because she "has learned a lot about him" and "he is the best nomination for the house".

Spoiler: Gary will win POV and save himself....Jillian will put up Danielle for the replacement nominee.

Episode 4: Wednesday March 6, 2013 - "Showmance vs. Bromance"

After the Nomination Ceremony: Gary Glitter calls Jillian a ___ bitch in the Diary Room, then looks for his veil (which is really just a flimsy sweater). He says he is going to play the game with glitter on his back. I think he has glitter on his brain. A condition that can be cured by modern medicine. Wasn't there a telethon for it? He should see a doctor. Meanwhile, Aneal is very upset. He immediately goes to Jillian after he was nominated for eviction. He starts whining and crying..."if only it was anybody else but you...wah wah...I don't even like to talk to anybody else in the house". But he tells us in the DR confession that the crying is just strategy to gain sympathy. He starts crying to everyone. Keep it up Aneal...I would vote you out just because of your bad acting skills.

Apparently, Emmett and Jillian upped their showmance as soon as Jillian became HOH. Sounds fishy on Emmett's part, kind of opportunistic.

Funniest sequence in the episode happens when Peter heads to the Diary Room - in the hall he hears a voice coming from the funky moose head. Marsha is painted white and has gold glitter antlers. Oh my god, Gary would be so jealous. Marsha the Moose gives Peter a reward challenge. There are 3 quotes on cards which he must work into conversations with the other HGs. If anyone questions what he's talking about, he fails. As Peter goes to fetch the cards, Marsha says, "Hey Peter...what does the rest of the house look like?" The first quote is: "I have a rash in a really awkward place". Peter says this to Talla (as a possible reaction to the slop), who now thinks Peter's balls are inflamed. Great. She offers him an ointment. The second one is: "A woman knows the face of the man she loves as a sailor knows the open seas". Liza buys it. Maybe she was just being polite. Arrr me matey. The last one is: "The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool". He tries that one with AJ, but flubs it. Then he tries it with Andrew. Success. Peter goes to Marsha who tells him the reward will come later - is the Moose just screwing with him? Oh and he is never to speak of her. Marsha also tells Peter he's cute. peter says he likes Marsha. Hey maybe Peter and Marsha will develop their own showmance. I hope we see more of Marsha.

Okay maybe that wasn't the funniest thing. What was really hilarious was Jillian confessing that she resisted kissing Emmett, because friends and family were watching. Hmmm. But apparently she didn't have any trouble screwing under the sheets or in the shower. She does know she's on Big Brother and not The Bachelor, right? Or is her favorite movie Pretty Woman - where Julia Roberts plays a hooker who won't kiss her clients? She does know there are about a million cameras in there, right? What a dumbass. Not to mention the fact that she's an Elementary School teacher. Nice example for the kiddies there Jillian. Good luck with future career options.

POV Competition. Gary Glitter readies himself with what else? Why glitter of course. Ah, the magic of glitter. He's "feeling blue glitter energy". He puts on warpaint. If only William Wallace had blue glitter, maybe he would have defeated the English instead of being dismembered and having his body parts spread all over the country. Well maybe there is something to it, because Gary wins.

There's a birthday party for Alec. It's not his birthday...it's a prank he and Peter have devised. Alec reveals his bromance/alliance since day 1 with Peter. As Alec says, "bromance before showmance" (refering to Topaz). Very interesting. He says he and Peter are the smartest people there. True so far. But what of Marsha, Peter?

Jillian talks to some of the girls, asking their opinion on who to put up as replacement nominee, a ploy to get someone, namely Danielle, to volunteer. Danielle volunteers. Tom mentions to Emmett that eventually he will have to drop Jillian..."Emmett's an honest person as long as he's thinking with the right head". Jillian talks to Liza...there should be a girls' alliance. "anything boys can do, girls can do better". Original. I was expecting them to sing "I am woman, hear me roar". Aneal has a talk with Her Highness Jillian and her Royal Consort, Emmett. He bring up the possibility that Jillian is being played. Jillian says, "Am I being played, (pause) Emmett?" Hmmm, interesting.

Marsha's reward for Peter and the HGs is a ski/hot-tub party with booze and macaroni - even for the have-nots. Suzette wears shorts. Yikes.

POV Ceremony: Gary Glitter saves himself and Jillian nominates Danielle as a replacement. Is she a pawn or will she get blind-sided? Good episode. The layers of alliances are being revealed. But we still know next to nothing about people such as Suzette, Andrew or AJ.

Current spoiler speculation is that Danielle will be the next HG evicted, based on the live feeds.

Episode 5: Thursday, March 7, 2013 - "The Aneal Deal"

The Week 1 eviction was just a kind of go-with-the-flow eviction. This week, we are going to see who's aligned with who, and who the "floaters" are.

So Aneal thinks there is a 90% chance he is out of the door. He's gotta do something quick. Meanwhile, Pete, Emmett and Alec meet in the supply room to discuss the girls' alliance that is forming - they have to nipple, I mean nip it in the bud.

Peter reveals that his alliance with Alec, called "The Shield" is half of the alliance with Tom and Emmett...called "The Quatro". Peter and Tom want to keep their advantage going and vote out Danielle. That way, Gary Glitter will have no one and Aneal will be eating out of their hands. They strike up the "Aneal Deal".

Danielle, Suzette and Gary are still believing that Aneal is out. Slowly, Danielle is starting to believe that something is up...but she does absolutely no campaigning. Bad move even for a real pawn. Gary is getting nervous about his alliance. he goes to Jillian in the HOH room - of course Emmett is there - and tells her that the HOH is supposed to be in charge..."are you in charge, Jillian?"

Last night, Gary rounded up the girls and had a fashion show. The guys watched as the girls and Gary walked the runway. Gary was in heaven. Alec drooled over Topaz.

Live Eviction Vote:

Alec                      Danielle
Tom                      Danielle
Topaz                   Danielle
Gary                                         Aneal
Suzette                                    Aneal
AJ                         Danielle
Liza                       Danielle
Talla                                         Aneal
Emmett                Danielle
Andrew                Danielle
Peter                    Danielle

Danielle is evicted 8 to 3. Lots of tears from Danielle, Gary, Talla and Suzette. On her exit, Danielle says " Everybody had me believing it would be a clean vote. I think I played my best". She says she doesn't feel so bad about saying bad things about certain people in the house. The best Diary Room goodbye was from Peter: "Danielle, you're the first unofficial victim of The Quatro".

HOH Competition: It's an opinion-based contest called "Popular Vote". The HGs have to answer how they think the majority will answer, and those who answer in the minority are out of the comp. For the most part, the HGs do pretty well, so in the end it comes down to a tiebreaker. They have to guess the number of liters of batter used in last weeks Have-Not challenge "Batter Up". It was 3,690 liters. Holy crap...what schmuck had to mix all that? Tom came closest with a guess of 1,700 and wins HOH.

So at the end of week 2, Jillian seems to be the worst HOH ever. Thinking with her vagina. I am in agreement with Marsha th Moose...I really like Peter. Seems to be the early front-runner. I like Gary, but unless he really starts campaigning harder for a girls' alliance, then he will soon be gone. Probable nominees for eviction this week will be among Gary, Suzette and Talla...or Aneal as a pawn. Tom is smart enough to save Gary for the replacement nomination.
